Does Eddie O not understand 3-4 defensive schemes?

Yeah but he knows how to go 15-0. Something Saban doesn’t know how to do.

Saban also doesn't know how to have a losing record, something Orgeron is very familiar with.

He seems to be dead set on running a 4-3 defense. My guess is because he wants to be more involved in the defense because he knows how the D does is likely gonna make or break him next year.
My guess is he doesnt understand the 3-4 as well. Cant be involved if doesnt understand it as well.

Or we recruited players for a 4-3 and have a ton of DE and DT who would be wasted in a 3-4 scheme
