Auburn has 2 national titles vs. A&M's 3.

A&M has 18 SWC/Big 12 titles vs. Auburn's 8 SEC titles.

Does Auburn do ANYTHING Better than A&M? by Farmer1906

Wow. It's almost like one team is a top 5 team and the other is unranked... Let's look closer...

Neither team dominates the other stat wise... Surprisingly Auburn leads in a few of those categories...

It's also shocking that aTm can have significantly better talent at the WR and OL positions, have a better offensive scheme, has a starter that's been there 742 years, have had an easier schedule, and aTm leads Auburn by less than 2 yards a game passing... All while Auburn plays behind 4 OGs and a DT on the OL... And even then you average 20 yards a game more rushing! A whole 20 yards per game, 5 points more per game, around 20 more yards Overall per game... And that isn't even getting into defensive stats.

2 yards per game passing
20 yards rushing
20 overall yards per game
5 points per game

Those aren't mind numbingly more impressive than what auburn has done with significantly less talent, worse coaching, and an easier schedule.

I'd probably find something else to brag about, like that ranking.

Sure seems like you are bragging about kissing your sister...

Didn't read past this, because it's obvious you aren't credible.

Interesting.

Auburn has Seth Williams and Anthony Schwartz.

Both were mid 4*s. Auburn doesn't have anything close to 5* talent at WR, but please continue

Look at that. Not even a decade sine A&M changed history and it's like it has been that way forever.

While I agree with most of your post, this is just flat out wrong. Jimbo is the most overrated over paid coach in college football. Not saying Gus is great but let’s not act like Jimbo is any better. Also Steele has been awesome for you guys sans a few games. He might be slightly worse than Elko.

And who does A&M have at WR? Ainias smith who is also our 2nd string RB is about it. There are some solid young guys, but A&M lost all their receivers before the season and then Chapman tore his ACL against Florida.

Are you really complaining that we now a claim a title from a season where not only were we undefeated, but also unscored upon?

I was simply going off recruiting rankings. Didn't know about injury or opt outs. Frankly I don't care one way or another about aTm. I've not paid them any attention as far as things like that.

My apologies. I stand corrected.

As I said in another thread,...

Your shrimp boat captain is 1-2 against him, and the one game he won needed a Heisman winner and the “best season in history”.

Jimbo needed "controversial officiating" and LSU's worst team in two decades for his two wins

We are 3-2 against y’all since O took over in 16. Congrats on the fluky 7 OT win which was won multiple times by LSU only for refs to gift y’all the game.

Jimbo has yet to easily beat LSU in any game. Meanwhile said Shrimp Boat captain has a 24 point win and a 43 point win.

You wanna talk about us having the Heisman winner and best season ever to beat yet you brag about beating arguably the worst LSU team in the last 20 years and maybe worst defense ever.

Congrats on the the 2nd place trophy yet again. Be sure to print the cups!

Is it though?

Lets look at Auburns side. Again I don't have a lot of reference for aTm, I just have 8 years of Gus the Idiot Malzahn.

Malzahn has 8 seasons in Auburn. He has played for 2 SEC Championships and 1 National Championship. He was embarrassed in the SEC Championship loss and gave up what should have been a win in the national championship to FSU coached by... Jimbo.

As of Sunday, November 29th, 2020, Gus Malzahn is:

3-5 (38%) vs. Alabama
2-7 (22%) vs. Georgia
3-5 (38%) vs. LSU
2-5 (29%) in bowl games
1-4 (20%) in bowl games vs. major conference teams
0-12 (0%) in Baton Rouge, Athens and Tuscaloosa
39-27 (59%) vs. SEC opponents
15-17 (47%) vs. SEC opponents on the road
7-6 (54%) vs. non-conference Power 5 teams
20-26 (43%) when playing ranked teams
8-16 (33%) when playing top 10 teams
2 NY6 bowl appearances, and is 0-2 (0%) in them
6 (looking like 7) straight seasons with at least four losses
1st loss to a non-major conference team in 27 years*
1st loss to Tennessee in 19 years (20 years at home)
1st loss to South Carolina in 87 years (1933)
1 SEC championship in 8 years
0 playoff appearances
0 national titles
2 first-round NFL draft picks since 2014, both in 2020. Went 5 seasons without a single first-round pick.

As over rated/paid as Jimbo is, he at least has a ring to show for it, albeit it was against the do ta do known as Gus. And of the stats I just posted, I don't see Jimbo being THAT shitty.

Also I'll probably catch hell from my Auburn people for this, but to be fair, Steele hasn't done jack shite without Muschamps recruits.

We haven't had ANYTHING that even resembles a pass rush since 2017.

Jimbo started in 2018, or is this just another case of LSU's favorite pastime?

As I stated about your 2 wins you speak of consist of a fluky 7 OT game that LSU actually won. I don’t give a frick what you say, your TE fumbled the ball and LSU recovered. And a 20-7 win against the worst LSU team in 20 years with arguably one of their worst defenses of all time and you scored a whopping 13 points on offense with one being a fluky 51 yard td. Congrats so you want a cookie? Or would you rather me print the cups?
