That’s the biggest bunch of horse shite this site has ever seen. The ultimate goal is winning the national championship regardless of circumstances. How many NCAA basketball teams have won the national title and not won their conference? Do you think it bothered them in the least little bit? That’s a negative.

You should have more respect for the champions of the conference Alabama plays in.

No one bitching about that, sometimes the cards fall your way and sometimes they don't but only 1 fanbase cries the frick over it ALL THE TIME damn near 8 years later.

Well people still to this day give LSU shite about that title so yeah, no

The problem with the 2011 season was more so the rematch than the conference champ angle, at least for me. And the “bye” week Alabama got in December

You mean that time bama got extra weeks off because you didn't even win your division and backed into the NC game?

that's the time. If I remember correctly LSU showed up in the dome and got their arse whipped, I don't think they just handed Alabama the trophy

you little bitch

they claim all of them are basically mythical.

So why do all 128 NCAA FBS schools...including yours...recognize them?'

No other sport that I can think of has folks claiming and playing for a NC without winning their division/conference

A helluva lot of MLB players and fans say hi.

They also play their way into the title games. They aren’t voted in

Alabama in 2011 basically earned a bye in the playoffs by losing

all of this boo hoo bs holds no water when it comes to Bama, we've proved the committee/voters right by winning the title both times.

You proved you were better that one day. LSU proved they were better in Tuscaloosa. So they went 1-1 against each other that season.

Bama won the one that mattered. Trophy is still in Tuscaloosa.

So they won one of two. They sure as frick prepared for part 1 like it mattered... and lost... at home. So, again, Alabama proved nothing more than they were better on that particular day. I never disputed who had a trophy. I responded to what Alabama proved.

What about the time before that on your home field? If you lose again will your coach go on Game day and whine abour how winning the SEC does not matter?

Only reason you want to talk about the last one is you have a short memory. Since 2005 LSU and Bama have faced off in 1 vs top 5 game four times... Record is 2-2. This is the rubber game. We got ours on since we dont want to catch a STD from you fricks!

Already been established that Bama sets and breaks the standard. More bowls, more more bowl wins, more ‘ships! Just the way it is.

Wasn’t that the first time in CFB history that a team that didn’t win its division or conference still got to play for a NC?

When was the first time a team with two losses won a national title in the BCS/Bowl Coalition era?
