re: Does Anyone Here Truly Hate Another School?

When I actually think about GT what I feel is definitely hate.
There is not a more obnoxious bunch of nerds on this entire planet. Hardly think about them unless one of them is trashing UGA or the SEC - jealousy really gets them buzzing- on some message board or when I check scores and laugh like mad to see that they have lost another game.
Of course it’s hard to ignore them the last week in November when we have to play these misfits. They are totally full of themselves the week of the game and then go back into the woodwork like the insects they are after another humiliating loss. So yeah, I hate them

I have hated a few coaches if that counts

I’m not a big fan of the Longhorns because everyone in the school is a city boy who might as well be from SF.
I kind of like their football team though. They’re ok.

Kansas is in football purgatory right now. It's a sad, sad thing when your QB is almost single-handedly losing games.

And Nebraska has been in a long stretch of futility. Things are looking up for the Huskers this year, but they will never dominate the Big 10 the way they did the Big 8 at times.

Daniels is making 7 figures, I read. I hope he is saving some of that money and that he's getting a good degree from KU.

It's a good point...for players who can't make it to the NFL, NIL is a blessing.

I used to hate LSU but grew out of it as I matured. It started when I was a kid, Archie's senior year, his left arm was in a cast and they beat us 61-17. They were going to the Orange Bowl and pelted the players with oranges. Long before the Calvin graphics came out the camera showed a fan holding up a sign that had a little man peeing on Colonel Reb and read Piss on Ole Miss. My parents laughed but at 10 years old it made me burn with anger. Then a couple years later they had 4 seconds on the clock and ran two pass plays and the clock still showed a second left to play afterward. With a second left of course the third time was the charm to win the game.

I should hate Arkansas after 4th and 25 but I've got some good friends whose families are from Arkansas and we get together and cook sausage on gameday every year. We call it the Sausage Game. On the 4th and 25 play one of my Hog friends sprang out of his chair onto the floor on all fours yelling. A few minuets later I walked by the tv and noticed something shiny on the floor. It was a derringer that had come out of his pocket when he leapt onto the floor. I guess he thought he might have to shoot his way out. Same guy busted the glass on his storm door with his forehead when the Hogs let the popup drop.

As a casual observer over the years the most hate seems to be between South Carolina and Clemson.

I don’t hate, but I can’t stand Florida and Bama.
