Coach Bryant said he didn't see black or white, He only saw football players.
This is the way it should be.

The fact that you don’t know the answer to your question is why we need CRT taught. Study up on the history related to the one drop days or 3/5ths compromise and go forward from there.

A person shouldn't care what any person's race is for anything.

Yep... minus traces of Neanderthal & others in our genetic code, humans won the actual race battle a long time ago.

The world would be a lot less racist if they all got ancestry genotyping done and figured out we're all mutts to varying degrees.

Humans are stupid by nature. Racism is exhibit A.

I can remember a time, not all that long ago, when "not being racist" meant "not judging a person by the color of their skin." Over the past ten years, though, it has somehow transformed into "caring more about the color of a person's skin than anything else about them." Very, very strange, and quite clearly a failure when applied in the real world, but no one cares about things like "objective reality" anymore anyway.

Once they won the equality battle, which was justified, they needed something else to do to earn a paycheck, so they aw what the study of law created, CRT, and decided to use it everywhere. Now, equality is irrelevant. Its all about equity, and the only way to create that is through racism.

It'd be better if the QB were of the human race. Outside of that I doubt most people care. It is noteworthy I guess that its the first time both teams had a starting QB who was black but I doubt if anyone really cares beyond it being a good bar bet in a few years.

When Doug Williams won the Superbowl though folks on both sides cared and cared deeply. In the late 70's and early 80's there were a bunch of white folks, some of them prominent in sports media, who made no bones about their being of the opinion that black athletes were not smart enough to play QB due to the intracacies of the position. Black athletes were natural athletes while white athletes had a strong work ethic which enabled them to be better prepared and not rely on pure athletic ability. Of course that was a load of BS at the time as it is today but many people held it as the gospel truth.

When Doug Williams lead the Redskins to a championship many black people were very interested in the QBs race.
It was a big deal to many and there is no doubt that interest in the NFL among black folks grew exponentially after 1987 and at least some of this new found interest was a result of Williams winning the SB. That was not that long ago.....

Max Kellerman cares. And don’t you forget it! Or he will remind you how much he cares!

After reading this post and the rest in here, it's amazing to me that these message boards don't kill SEC schools in recruiting.

If people want to celebrate that it's the first time two black QBs meet in the superbowl I have no problem with that.
What is cooler though is that both QBs are Texas HS products.
