We will only know when it happens but georgia is bound to make the four team draw with a win AND the two outside teams looking in, ou and o-h... i-o, are far from guaranteed to drop a one-loss bama from the top 4...

With inviting odds bama, georgia, notre dame and clemson would be my four team handicap.

I would argue a close loss by Georgia means both should go because a close loss by a #4 team to a #1 team doesn't suddenly make the #5 & #6 teams better.

Yes, but the bigger question is will Georgia make it with a close loss?

Bama in either way - GA loss only proves they are not that good and would finish third in the West.

And the answer is no.

I would normally say yes, but if that happened you would likely have two ACC teams AND two SEC teams in the playoffs and I'm not sure the committee would want to do that.

Nope- we wouldn't. And I'm OK with it honestly. We've got our shot, it's there for the taking.

ND is a member of the ACC in every sport minus football. His point is Alabama and UGA from the SEC and ND and Clemson from the ACC.

Yes. Bama got in last year without even playing in the SECCG. They are guaranteed a spot

It would almost be worth it to lose a close game just to block out Ohio and ou

Bama gets in if they lose as long as it's not really ugly.

1. Clemson
2. Notre Dame
3. Georgia
4. Bama

Bama isn't losing, though.

They may actually make it of Ohio State and Oklahoma look bad even if they win. That was discussed on radio today by some supposed CFO expert analyst. Those two teams outside of the Oklahoma offense aren’t highly thought of.

And yes if Bama doesn’t get blown out they will likely still get in.
