What an abortion of a thread.

College is a different animal than the NFL, fricking retarded comparison. And we are relating two similar programs in terms of recent success and revenue, so i do not know how you throw MSU in there? Remember, it is reasons AU is better than OSU dumb arse.

You cannot compare programs like Texas and tOSU to Auburn. You should be comparing Auburn to teams like Okie St and Michigan St. Both are BCS schools that aren't even the top programs in their state, just like Auburn.

Lulz, typical state fan.

There are two reasons somebody would take the Auburn job over the Ohio State.
1. They went to Auburn.
2. They went to Michigan.

I am in no way jelly of state. It's funny the way y'all prop yourselves up. The delusion amongst your fanbase is not even exceeded by bama fans, but at least they have some big balls to swing around.

The delusions lie with Auburn fans. Only they believe their coaching job is top 10. Top 20 yes but that is all. Deal with it

Cute.
1. Bama has a better football team right now, but we will always be the better university and fanbase. Not to mention we have had the better football program as well over the past 3 decades.
2. We own OSU. You guys are our bitch whenever you happen to step on the same field as us.

1) LSU

Serious question and maybe you said it in this thread, where would you rank state? And I said auburn was top10/15 dependent on the criteria. Top 20 is laughable if you are referring to above 15. Here is the thing with most Ohio state people, they don't know what's going on outside of Ohio. They are too wrapped up in their little world.

I guess it's better than Youngstown state or fake retirements because he could compete

Typical Ohio State fan. Talking out their arse with no knowledge of the subject matter. Hell half the Ohio St fans I talk to can't even tell me the name of their QB.

This coming from a guy who ranks 5 SEC teams in the top 10 that doesn't include Mich, ND or tOSU. It's you who has no clue. The tOSU job is top 5. Bama, Texas, USC are top 3.

Nah they know their team, but if its out of the state of Ohio, they don't have a clue.

Good list, but ohiovol had a good response:
You later say you'd put A&M over Ohio State but didn't because of your admirable non-homerism. Well... you shouldn't, homer or not. Ohio State is a better coaching gig than A&M and it isn't especially close, in my opinion, unless you grew up in the south and can't stand the cold. Very good recruiting base, fanatical fans, excellent facilities, and the one thing A&M doesn't have: a history of excellence.
The one guy I saw putting t.u. at the top obviously isn't paying attention. It's a top job, no doubt, but the demands on the coach from the elite plus the LHN distractions - yuck. Good job for a young guy, I guess. I guess.
I'd swap LSU and Alabama simply because of fan reactions. To me, Alabama fans seem... not quite as insane. But maybe that's just me.
I don't think Auburn belongs in the top 10, though they may be 11 or 12. I'd move Ohio State to 5 or 6 and add Michigan at #10 - same deal as OSU, if you can stand the cold and living with Yankees.
