I remember when UGA lost to UF last year and UGA fans blamed it on injuries

I remember UF fans saying injuries have zero impact on the game after that and then immediately changing their story after their OU game.

I think play calling was more of an issue than injuries were for UGA’s lack of offense.

Looks like former UGA QB Aaron Murray was spot on....

But I’m more worried about the receivers. I’m super concerned that we don’t have that playmaking ability. That’s something I was concerned about last year as well. … A lot of them are banged up. … It just has not been a really good camp offensively for the Dawgs and that worries me

Pickens is gone per inside sources. He hasn't been taking his rehab seriously

That wasn't Monken's offense we saw Saturday. That was Kirby circling the wagons and betting on his defense.

Correct....and that bet paid off. The way Georgia's defense was handling Clemson, the only way UGA was going to lose is if the offense made a big mistake. Why chance that? By the end of the season Georgia will be among the league leaders in total offense.

I get the receivers were injured and they were missing multiple players and had some playing hurt. I still don’t think that excuses the play calling. It’s a defeatist mindset to just never try to stretch the field because you’re afraid of the opponents DL or think your WR’s can’t get separation.

He knew our injury situation better than we did.

Without the pick 6

Without a sack, JT hits Mconckley for a long touchdown pass in the 4th.

See how stupid that logic is?

Sean Payton has often stated that he wants to take at least 2 deep shots per quarter to keep the defense honest if nothing else.

I remember in the 80s when a heavy emphasis was put on the D., the games were always low scoring. Both offenses were up against #1 and #2 ranked defenses in the country. Both got hit in the mouth and staggered to the finish line. Monken thought it was safer to dink and dunk, because we had true freshman bowers and 4th string wr McKonkey. Having a turnover at the wrong time would be crucial in this game ask klimpson. We have plenty of time to get it together. Not worried a lick.

Without the pick 6 Clemson at least gets a FG out of that series

Who got that pick 6? One of the guys you have been trashing uga for. Huge play, great development.

And there was no guarantee of them making a 47 yard field goal. Only an idiot would assume otherwise.

A beautiful design, stopped by an injury to our starting RG

Clemson also changed how they normally play on D, and we took what they gave us, which was underneath stuff.

Just wait until UGA gets their injured players back. For a team you hold so little regard for, Georgia has sure jerked Bamas chain in the past years. At the NC game I had a young Bama fan sitting a few seats away from me. He was smack in the middle of a UGA ticket area and was very mouthy at first, so mouthy some UGA fans were telling to STFU, he became really quite as the game went on and the toward of the game I looked over and he was literally on his knees in the aisle praying. He was sweating it. And if you were honest you were too. We were the better team 3 of the last 4 games we have played with Bama. And sooner or later Lady Luck is going to be with us. Bama seems really concerned about Georgia lately. It’s either jealousy that we are getting more press than they are or it’s fear. I think it’s both.

UGA was clearly missing more players, so its not a wash.
