He's not running his offense, and not recruiting to it, and that's the problem.

Until Saban retires, why even go after another coach. The results because of instate recruiting would not change. Maybe worst. I think Gus is a pretty good coach.(cough, cough)

All you fans fantasy of Gus to Arkansas is cute. Not going to happen... but cute.

Your fears are palpable.
Your tears will be delicious.

The answer has no bearing on his comment.

He'll pull out his secret playbook against Bama and get a raise $$$.

This is exactly why Jimbo's contract is so great. If he doesn't want to be here, he can go.

Gus has a small, but powerful, faction of supporters in Arkansas. These supporters are more Gus fans than Arkansas fans. The other ~85% of the fan base would go ballistic if Gus were hired, so this Auburn fantasy is unlikely, imo. The very idea that it's even being mentioned has many fans irate.

I don’t think he is a bad coach but you guys seemed really divided on him. But for freak injuries you are in playoffs just two years ago.

I think he will beat bama or Georgia. Your schedule was brutal and 9 wins is not bad with freshman QB. But the key is who are you going to replace with with right now ?

The schedule was murder this year. Gus has done a pretty good job this year imo.

Exactly. And a freshman QB going through that hell will bode well in the future.

And 8-4 at Auburn is grounds for dismissal. At Arkansas, it's a great season.

Yeah, but 8-4 is a lot harder at Arkie than Auburn.
