I'm little surprised that Gus told UCF he hasn't had to interview for a job since his high school days. 
Did Houston Nutt not interview him? or Chizik? or Auburn's search committee after they canned Chizik?

I watched the whole press conference and the entire thing was basically "Hey, so, remember when we beat you? We're as good as all those other teams you played in your old league right? Don't you think?" It was really damn cringey.
Their entire bubble (media and fans, I guess) have truly convinced themselves they are basically a SEC program playing in the American - both on level of play and atmosphere of their little stadium.

What’s the problem with that? We are a top 20 coaching destination and the UCF fans go into a frenzy over the team.
