Not in general.
If it's a good story or I don't like the other team, yes. For instance, I'll be cheering for UGA against Ohio State, but that's just because I don't like Ohio State. But those situations are pretty rare.
The same thing goes for bowl games.
Under no circumstances do I cheer for stupid fricking Mississippi State.

Fvkn nooooooo. I want Auburn and LSU to lose at everything they do. I want their debate and robotics teams to lose. A few exceptions…if any of us are playing an Urban Meyer coached team, murder them…Vandy, because I’m a sucker for smart but disabled underdogs.

I used to, without fail. But the Bama hate has beaten it out of me. Now I'll pull for other teams to the same degree that their fans pull for us.

I want to see Georgia crush every team they face in the playoffs. It will just prove what we already know. The SEC is the top conference in college football.

It's such a grind to claw your way to the top of the sec, and if it isn't my school on top I find it hard to root against the team that beat us and stands on top. I go back and forth. When we were catching shite for Freeze (still love him) from all of you I wanted all of you to lose but normally I root for you all. I do get tired of the same old teams in the playoffs though.
Also like teams with coaches that genuinely love their team and school with an emotional / historic connection. Examples: South Carolina with Beamer and his Dad. Michigan with Harbough. Kirby and UGA. Orgeron and LSU.

On the one hand, watching your divisional rival (Bama) establish itself as a dynasty is tough.
On the other, I'm old enough to remember all that Michigan/Ohio State/Notre Dame etc hype, how those teams were placed (by the national media) above us trashy Southern teams. I enjoyed watching Miami and Fla State push them around, and I loved the first decade of this millennium, where (Insert Random SEC Team Here) whupped everyone's asses. Didn't matter which team, whoever emerged from the pack was the king that year.

Yes, because I hate the Big 10 and I'm tired of all them moving to the South/Texas. We have enough people here already.
