The greatest players in the history of baseball failed to record a hit in ~70% of their career at bats, and you think a college softball player can hit MLB pitching? I mean yay feminism and all that, but don't be delusional.
You are an idiot.
The whiff rate in baseball is about 20%.
On average, a player hits the ball 80% of the time.
There is some 100 year old delusion that hitting a pitch is the hardest thing to do in sports.
Watch Pro's versus Joe's. It was actually one of the easier tasks.
I have no doubt that softball players can look good up at the plate against big league pitchers (making contact)
Man to man coverage on a former wide receiver? Near impossible.

Most of them are pitchers, the least athletic demanding position on the field. I had a kid on a state championship team (subtle brag), that couldn't hit a bull in the arse with a bass fiddle and never played a position other than pitcher for four years.
But he had a breaking ball unlike anything I've ever seen from a kid and could locate it for strikes when needed.

I don’t know but when I was growing up a lot of them look like they kick my arse and outweighed by 50 pounds easy

It's always blown my mind that schools release the weights of male athletes but not of female athletes...

A 70mph fastpitch is equal to a 95 mph baseball pitch.
Not trying to be a feminist, but facts are facts. Given time to learn, I think these elite fastpitch hitters could learn to hit a baseball.

That's a 1B, a DH, and two pitchers, they don't have to be in shape.

Ah, suffering from the 'dicky-do' disease. Where the stomach pokes out further than the dicky do. Many a middle aged men have succumb to this dreadful disease, including myself.

I would love to see any of you try and hit a fastball coming at you at 70mph from 43 feet away!
Pujols, Piazza, and Giles tried to hit a 68mph pitch from Jennie Finch in 2018 and all failed! Badly!
I would love to see you hit a 102 mph pitch from Shohei Ohtani. Until I will not validate us hitting 68 mph from this woman who 90% of the population doesn't know exist

I would rather try to hit that fastball than try to figure out which pronouns they want me to use.
