Back in the day UGA female cheerleaders were much selected on the basis of looks and the girls all had to weigh in once a week.
Now they have standing back flip requirement which eliminated a lot of hot women and of course no weigh-ins

My key takeaways from your post:

Hit on (or worse) undergraduate, unpaid interns that where subordinate in his chain of command.
Was given direct instructions by his immediate superior to cease all such activity and to eliminate all situations that could give an impression that the activity could still occur but instead continued the activity and took active steps to conceal it (burner phone) from that superior.
(speculation by me) Failed to disclose his past conduct to his current employer, thus placing them in the position of facing their civil liability if he's chosen to continue to engage in that undisclosed behavior.

Forget that we're talking about a football coach hitting on coeds and wanting to be around a room full of blondes with big boobs.
Make it the manager of bank A who got caught making loans to his buddies that didn't really qualify, getting told to stop, doing it again, and getting fired. He then moves down the street and gets hired to manage bank B. Odds are incredibly high once bank B finds out about what happened at bank A, he's getting fired there too.
The sex angle is what draws attention, but at it's heart Les' issue at LSU started out as poor judgement but it evolved into (as Alleva said in his 2013 recommendation to fire) blatant, intentional insubordination. That's usually unsuvivable in a high level provessional environment.
