Shove it up your arse with all the other shite you shove up your arse.

Ironic seeing as how you degenerate woke phags bitch about, cancel people and burn cities over everything normal under the sun.

Right. Because we all know gender confused, sun evading retards who "aren't as racist as old people are" and defend rapists like Jacob Blake are ESPN's "prime audience".

Probably explains why ratings have been on a consistent decline as well as subscribers.

Also, how old are you, kweer? Humorous you assume we are all old when in fact, I'd wager we're the same age.

Call bullshite.

What was the last wholesome show on network television?

The Last Man Standing with Tim Allen that the wokes cancelled?

Rosanne (who is a lifelong democrat) that the wokes cancelled?

Do we have to go all the way back to 7th Heaven?

Cool story, they/them. Enjoy wanting to die when someone misgenders you.

Also, you should blow LEOs because they're literally the only thing standing between you homotrons and extinction.

The sad thing is that to compensate for ESPN losses Disney has jacked up the price for Disney World.

Not quite true

When Eisner took the reins from Walt he felt the need to compensate to the tune of 600 million a year (including options and bonuses). While Walt built a business many now just figure out how to squeeze a business for personal gain with little or no skin in the game.

Just got back. Did Universal, Magic Kingdom, Hollywood, ,Epcot, and Animal Kingdom.

It's more than 10K for 4. 10k might be the starting point for 4.

But the weather was great. December in Florida is the real magic.

CFB’s boringly predictable, the NBA doesn’t care about playing defense til April & MNF has had some stinker games. Could it be that programming/ratings are slumping?

I'll give you that one.

So we've got four shows going back 20 years.

And DawgGimp says there's no culture war, we're living in tents painted with fake boogie men.

You mean them constantly making the WNBA front page news anytime a game is on and woke articles blaming racism for everything might go away?

I dont believe it.

What i read last year is the opposite- ESPN is so far upside down with the contracts they've signed with multiple leagues that Disney support would be the only thing keeping it afloat.

Without Disney, they are a bankrupt standalone.

That's just what I read last year, or earlier this year. I didn't bookmark the link unfortunately.

This came out in May

quote:

Last year ESPN lost eight million cable and satellite subscribers, finishing 2021 with around 75 million total subscribers. That eight million subscriber loss, an average of nearly 22,000 people a day, represented 10% of ESPN’s overall subscriber base and accelerated a calamitous decline from over 100 million subscribers just over a decade ago.

quote:

The loss of those eight million subscribers will cost the network roughly a billion a year in recurring revenue across all ESPN network properties.

Disney has been looking to offload ESPN for a while now or find a way to stop the bleeding. The new contract for TV with the SEC was not well received by Disney either from reports.

I’m hearing Iger is exploring any and all options to stop the bleeding. Seeing that he’s responsible for hiring the people creating the woke mess, not sure he won’t make a lot of the same mistakes.

How else were poor SEC programs gonna scrape together enough to pay awful coaches tens of millions to not coach at their school?

The woke shite doesn't produce the revenue some here think. The Disney movies replacing original white characters with minorities are setting records for fail.

I wonder if allowing ESPN to go off on it's on will result in it being more about sports and less woke or is that crap so entrenched that it just won't go away.

ESPN has become what it is. Nothing will change that.

It would be awesome if ESPN just showed sports and a little commentary but that commentary should only be sports related.

Nothing political or anything.

Like when I was young MTV was awesome with just music videos then it became the woke version of the hallmark channel.

ESPN could take a simple step to make their programming way more interesting: hire a few people that they know will not tote the line & let them speak their mind. ESPN has become so predictable & bland in their opinions that there's no reason to tune in.

Podcasts are infinitely more interesting bc there's no one hanging over the commentators like a vulture making certain they don't step out of bounds with their opinions.
