Dude, it's Clemson. CLEMSON. They get hyped a bit every year, and every year they are still Clemson. Plus, Auburn has "The Stache", so they'll be alright. Barn by 7-10.

Give me a break because of a center? I know he started all games last year but please. We will see how bad it is next week. The team is not going to get blown out because of a center.

He was an All-American and clearly your best OL. Now with a new QB you may have some fumbled snaps, etc that could play a big role plus it will be much tougher for the new guy to open holes in the running game like RD would have. Big loss for AU.

Center is probably the most important position on any offense after QB and LT.

People around here are acting like it's the QB getting suspended. It will have an impact but not as much as people are making this.

Clemson beat AU last year by two TD's, no? What's your point?

Yes, this absolutely hurts, but it's going to be a battle of inexperienced lines either way. IIRC, Clemson will have 3 new starters on their line, too. As crazy as it sounds, this might be a defensive battle. But I still think this is a winnable game for us, just not as confident about it.

Now if Lemonier and Whitaker go out and get wasted next Friday night in ATL and get arrested, well then we're completely fricked.

But something tells me Chiz will have them on lockdown in ATL

That it'll be a girl fight, but that I feel like the barn will win this time. Last year, their defense was garbage. I'm assuming this year they'll at least be a little better.

I may be wrong, though.

I mean, you guys are breaking in a couple of new starters, aren't you? Who do you think calls the blocking assignments? Not to mention snapping the ball. It isn't like you are going to have to start Sobbing Cam, but I wouldn't be surprised to see some confusion on blocking assignments or a couple of bad snaps. In a close game those can be important.

This one is rough. I haven't seen the rumors floating but I heard the ones from a month or two ago. It sucks but an arrest is an arrest, even if it is just a bullshite type of arrest.

Center is a huge part and when you take away around 50% of the starts your offensive line has then that makes for a disaster. I hope he gets his shite together, he is still underage to my knowledge and if he is drinking, stay the frick home.

remember the abberation UF had the 1st 2 or 3 games when every 3rd or 4th snap was high...this is what AU now is looking at

Best idea I heard today, move Westerman over to OC he's like 6'2

Are you saying any team with a new center is most likely going to suck on offense? So what if we have a few new starters on the OL, happens every year on good teams. We will see how bad it is next Saturday. I'm not saying AU is going to have the best offense or anything , but I'm not sure it will be much different with dismukes out for a game

Yes it is. The past two years are unbearable.

Look at the happenings over the past two years and the guys who would have been on the field this Saturday without it.

You think Fariyike has just been sitting back and eating Cheetos during practice?

Look, Fariyike obviously isn't as talented as Reese, but this is his third year in the program. He's not some free agent we signed over the weekend. I dont know what Fariyike will be able to do physically, but I'm sure he can snap a football and has some idea of what the calls are. Otherwise, I doubt he would be our second string center.
