One that I was excited about because I was able to see a few games of his was Kelvin Taylor. I thought he would breakout and be a great back by now.

Maybe he'll be able to do that this year.

He was playing for a functional retard. He's had moments where he looks like a really good one but when you have a retard for a coach and 3 different offensive schemes in three years it's tough to get anything going unless you are playing UG.

BTW, he averaged 4.9 YPC last year even with a terrible offensive game plan, marginal OL and no passing game.

Fournette isn't living up to the hype.

1000 yds in FR season with receiving and return TDs is pretty good for a freshman no matter the ranking.

It just so happens Chubs was also a freshman. It's kinda like when Trout stole Harper's thunder in baseball. Harper still a terrific player, but people call him overrated.

Dobbs.

It has been incredibly disappointing that he has been successful for the viles.

How so? Hit him below shoulder pads, didn't use crown of helmet. He may have launched, but that would be hard to argue as one foot is still touching ground when he makes contact. You could argue that he didn't wrap, and I would counter that he brought arms up from hips in attempt to wrap but the force of impact knocked player away before he could wrap arms.

Didn't use the crown of the helmet? His head is down and it snaps back into the neck brace. He's lucky he didn't hurt himself.

For me I head into the 2015 season as a fan of LSU extremely disappointed that Kendell Beckwith has started only 7 games. He'll be an All-SEC caliber performer but our refusal to play him at Mike his Freshman Year and our refusal to start him at Mike his Sophomore year to begin the dang season is inexcusable. He's disappointing simply because of our coach's ineptitude.

But as far as recruits who simply didn't pan out, I'd stick with LB and go with Clifton Garrett. Five-Star LB out of Illinois who got like 3 snaps on Special Teams last year or some sh!t. Had some mysterious issue with an alleged concussion, and then he had alleged problems adjusting to heat, and on and on. He transferred to some JUCO out in 'Zona. Really, really disappointed as I thought he had the potential to be a STUD and buttress our depth and future at Linebacker for the next few years behind and alongside Beckwith starting this year.

Travonte Valentine never getting his act together sucks. DeAngelo Benton never materializing at receiver for us out of Bastrop makes me feel like Ahab sometimes too.

Didn't use crown of helmet

I've never seen a fanbase get so hard about their bust of a LB on special teams.
