Differences between OU and Bama that will doom UGA

OU has a better passing game but Jalen runs better than Baker.
Bama has linebackers that can get off blocks. OU does not.
Bama has linebackers that can tackle. OU does not.
Bama has linebackers that follow reads and get to where they're supposed to be. OU does not.
All of Bama's secondary is better than OU's at everything football.
Bama has a DL that is tough to block. OU does not.
Bama has an OL that is designed for run blocking, OU's is designed for pass blocking.
Bama has a great punter. OU's punter is awful.
Bama can execute the squib kick. OU cannot.
After what UGA did yesterday, I'm a believer in Kirby. Scott Frost should probably get COTY for G5 and Kirby for P5. Mullen, Pruitt, and Muschamp are going to have a tough time getting to Atlanta as long as Kirby is around. He's going to raise the level of play in the East for sure.
But, I think the differences above will swing this in favor of Bama. UGA has a great running game, but that's in Bama's wheelhouse.
After the idiots at Michigan decide to give Harbaugh a lifetime contract for an ungodly amount of money, I expect Saban to put his 85 rings in a sock and bludgeon the Bama administration into giving him a 5yr extension at $10mill per year. And for the level of excellence he's acheived, and the money that flows into that program (even after accounting for the Dodge Challengers that flow out of the program), Saban would be worth it.

Just a small difference between Mayfield and Hurts lol

You, Jake LaMotta, and MagildaChunks have sleepovers at each other’s houses and burn stuffed bulldogs

Short answer. Bama's D is a lot better than OU's. UGA also plays good D, OU is just very good offensively. Should be a good game but a lot less scoring than in the Rose Bowl.

We certainly have a better defense than OU, butOU has a better offense. UGA's defense will likely give us problems too.

Easy prediction. UGA won't be able to run and will not be able to protect the QB when its one dimensional. Combine that with a D that just gave up 531 to OU and its a cake walk Bama title.
Don't get me wrong, I don't want this to happen, but just don't see it going any other way.

You are right. Hurts is playing in his second title game, and is 2-1 in the playoffs..... Mayfield..not so much

Georgia has the ability to be effective on the ground and the air. Based upon what Bama fans share, they may not be able to duplicate that.
Bama is the better team.
But UGA answers the call as well as anyone this year.
Whomever wins the turnover battle and the trenches wins the game. All 3 factors (offense, defense, and special teams) will play a role in the outcome.

So UGA has no chance. Got it.

We’ve heard this shite all year....

it will be a low scoring affair...the two defenses are very similar and it will be hard for both offenses to produce...BUT...I think the Bama offense is less potent than UGA's and I think that will be the deciding factor...UGA wins late by 1 score.

Others with more football smarts may have seen it differently, but it seemed like OU's linebackers were never in position yesterday and they got blocked very easily. That's really the key to this title game in my opinion. I think Bama keeps UGA pinned down quite a bit because Bama LBs are going to limit a 3 yard carry to 3 yards, whereas with OU it was routinely going for 50 yards. Past the LOS, did OU tackle UGA's running backs more than 3 times?

Georgia will load the box to stop Bama's rushing attack. Jalen will have to improve his passing performance or the Bama defense will eventually tire.
I expect this to be more similar to the SEC championship game between these two teams a few years back and not the blackout massacre.

Alabama will have to manufacture points with field position and turnovers. Kirby will load the box and force Hurts to throw. As calm as Hurts' demeanor is, the game still hasn't slowed down for him. Should be a close, hard-hitting game. Looking forward to it.

Baker is basically A Stiffler version of Tim Tebow.
Bama doesn't have anyone close to that. Also Bama's offense looked pretty meh the entire game. Their defense playing lights out is why they won

Georgia's run defense is a mirage if you actually have someone that is a serious threat downfield. Hurts has sometimes shown improvement there, but I don't think enough to where you have to game plan for him in the air.
It's a simple story, make Georgia drop back the safeties and Georgia will get ran on easily. If not, Georgia's been stopping pretty good RBs all year.

OU's offense is better.
Bama's defense is better.
I think UGA can stop Alabama, but moving the football against Pruitt's defense will be a challenge.
