It isn't just the OU game. It is the Auburn game, the OU game, and the Missouri game (Missouri is pitiful btw)

Fromm is no passing threat to beat us. Your running game is your bread and butter and it is what we are best at stopping. We held a Clemson team that was far better at passing than you are to nothing. We completely shut down their running game.

Short answer. Bama's D is a lot better than OU's. UGA also plays good D, OU is just very good offensively. Should be a good game but a lot less scoring than in the Rose Bowl.

This. I see a game more similar to the Sugar Bowl, except UGA will move the ball better than Clemson did. I think Bama's defense will be too much for UGA. I see a 21-10 type of game.

1. I'm not comfortable with trench warfare up against Bama. I see them having the advantage on both sides.

2. I don't trust the refs to call it straight. Officiating in the Rose Bowl was refreshing.

There are a few things which favors UGA like STs, receiving, and QB.

I agree with all of this. This is exactly the reason why Bama demolished UGA the last two times they played. Hell, Bama shut Chubb down last season. It’s gonna be a blowout, but UGA still had a great year

1. Bama didn't play Chubb last season.
2. In 2015 Chubb had 146 yards against Bama.
3. 2015 (2012 ninja edit) UGA was 5 yards away form beating Bama.
4. You shouldn't post

I think STs are a wash. Alabama's punter has been fantastic, had 2 punts downed inside the 10 last night and didn't allow renfroe any return yardage

Mullen, Pruitt, and Muschamp are going to have a tough time getting to Atlanta as long as Kirby is around.

...i think Muschamp has been fantastic at USCe...their fanbase has reason for optimism and don't be surpised if there are some epic SEC East battles in coming years.

Scott is great, but UGA is significantly better in kick return and has a kicker they trust.

Our defense has been stout agains tthe run all year. I'm sorry but none of your backs are as good as Kerryon Johnson at full health either.

AU beat you guys too, so shut that shite up.
Missouri had a few long TD bombs, but didn't run all over us either.

and we already discussed OU.

Look I could be wrong, but I think Bama will have to stack the box and make Fromm win it just like everyone else can. Fromm has proven time and time again he CAN do this. When he starts to hit some of those high percentage throws, thats when you will see Sony and Nick go to work.

It has happened all year and they did it against AU in the title game and OU int he Rose..

Im sure Bama will put up points, but I don't think you will run all over us either.

The real question is...

Will Bama finally be the team that does it that isnt in Jordan Hare with a crazy home atmosphere? I like our chances.

In 2015 you were 20 miles away from beating Bama...you mean 2012.

Correct, my brain has not removed all of the poisons from last night.

Scott's done pretty well getting touchbacks on KOs hasn't he? It's pretty easy to neutralize a kick return game if you have a guy that kicks it into the endzone consistently. I think having a guy that punts as well as Scott is every bit as important as a good FG kicker. Hell, Brad Wing and our punt coverage team was a big part of why we were so good in 2011. But yeah, Blankenship def showed he has legit range last night

They didn't beat us 40-17 and we ran for over 200 on them as well. Healthy Bama isn't the same Bama from the Auburn game btw...

Your Defense has shown a propensity to be torched when not playing Tennessee, Florida, Kentucky, Vandy, etc.

Must be nice playing in that SEC East week after week

Well.........when we try to do that, yes. However, we generally pin the ball at the 3 and cover. And, to be fair, we generally do it extremely well.

Yea I agree - having Scott, especially in a game like this, is a huge weapon. And outside of last night, Pappa has been pretty solid inside 40. I still don't trust him, though, but that's just Stockholm Syndrome really.

I guess they're going to load the box and make Fromm win it with his arm.

shite...I was wondering when somebody would think of that.

The 2nd half of the OU game was when that high flying offense got shut down

The second Auburn game resulted in a grand total of 7 points

The Mizzou game was just a couple of busted coverages

I think we'll make every effort to keep 2 deep safeties and win at the LOS, especially after our healthy Front 7 performance last night.

I think people underestimate the psychological dynamics that play into college football. Alabama just proved their manhood against Clemson. They’ve been looking to this rematch all year. This was their goal, they’re not looking past Georgia but it’s just not the same dynamics. They could not be denied last night. I don’t think the same dynamics exist for this matchup with Georgia. Georgia plays MUCH better as the underdog and I expect that. Do I think UGA will win? I don’t know and if I had to pick (being completely objective) I’d go with the safe bet and pick Alabama and Nick Saban but I would not say it’s a foregone conclusion that we lose. Think UCF and Auburn, Auburn is better, everyone knows it but they lost. We will see but I expect it to be very close. This is a very good Georgia team and it plays into their hand if everyone is picking against them.
