ome really good RB's and WR's were QBs once in their career. I imagine it helps them better understand the overall offense.
he's not big enough or fast enough to do either one of those things. Guys like Taysom Hill was 6'2" 220 and ran a 4.4 40 with a 38.5 in vertical at the combine. Matt Jones also put up ridiculous combine numbers and was 6'6." Pavia is probably like 5'10" 200 (I realize Vandy lists him as 6'0" 207) and isn't nearly as athletic as that.
Antwaan Randal El is maybe a comp size wise, but that dude played 3 varsity sports in college and was a pocket-knife on the football field. He was a freak athlete.
He's basically need to do what Julian Edelman did, which is very rare.

As a 38 year old male, I’m going to take this opportunity to open up my recruitment for any and all sports at the Division 1 level. I have added my name to the portal. Please contact my agent regarding your NIL offers and terms.

Diego Pavia Requesting His 7th Year
Moving CFB closer and closer to a Semi-Pro football league. One full of players with PhDs or multiple Master's Degrees of course. Yay for education!
Tebow may still be playing at UF if things were different then.

I used to work with a guy who was in college for 9 years. But he wasn't a QB... just a dumbass.

He is one of those few players (mostly QBs) that can make real big money in college even though their pro prospects aren't good at all.

Why doesn't he just go pro

Pavia just Tweeted that this is his last year. He’s not trying to get another year of college eligibility.

He should try, even if no intent to play, just to open the floodgates.
Burn it all down.

I saw the other day that his offensive line is made up of 5th and 6th-year seniors. Might as well have them apply for a 6th and 7th year as well. Nothing like 25 and 26-year-olds playing against 18-22 year olds. LOL!

That's favoritism based on enterprising talent.

He is not going to come back next year. He joined a case that is about not counting the Junior College years against the NCAA eligibility.

In terms of pandering for upvotes, you just rattled off the phrase that pays! Congrats.

People keep telling me how great of a QB he is.

Dylan Stewart had the right idea on Saturday night...

His arm isn’t strong enough to play at the NFL level and his style would get him hurt, as though as he is he’s simply not big enough to absorb punishment from NFL DL and LB’s with regularity
Also Pavia is really only effective in the offense Vandy runs, which requires a TE he’s totally synched with like Stowers

The thing is, you could possibly make an argument that the changes up until this point were in the best interest of student athletes.
This shite is just going to take away opportunities from younger kids. If 7+ years becomes the norm then younger kids who aren't top tier will lose all opportunities.

Oh, it's coming. Former NFL players will be suing for the right to go back to college and play.
Now that we are paying guys, I really don't see why they can't. But I draw a line at four years of eligibility.
