Considering how their o line looked...he looked like a stud...his numbers may not show it in SEC play but he is the real deal.

He ran with a want for contact.

Pretty good but not great, 54 yards on 14 carries and ran hard with two short td runs.

Dude will rush for 1200 this year. I'm calling it.

Yeah I'm curious to see how Lattimore and Dyer will compare this year. Lattimore played against some good competition and had an awesome OL while in high school. Dyer played against low-level competition and had no OL in high school. Go figure.

USCe did not look as good as the score showed...Southern Miss looked really bad...if Latt played at a school with a good O Line I say he might rush for 1800 yards...

Really? His 52 yds against USM is probably equivalent to 25 yds against an SEC defense.

Lattimore ran tough, broke a few tackles. Has an odd style and it looked to me that he limits his down field vision. Couple of times it looked like he could have broken off a long run if he'd have looked up.

Thats why I said "if he had a good O line"...I thought SC looked just like they did last year...of course it was week 1...

I am sure I will get flamed, but he looked just OK to me. I am not saying he is not going to be awesome. He definately appears to have all the tools. But that was Southern Miss fellas. I am not sure I would go pounding my chest just yet. Let's see how he does against a legit SEC defense.

Agree 100%. I noticed that too...once he got in traffic and tacklers got their hands on him, he looked straight down and covered up. I liked his shiftiness and power though and his vision was excellent when he had his head up. His stats don't tell the story and his O-Line didn't help him out much.
