Did Will Wade Dodge a Bullet in the Adidas Scandal?

If any of the people sentenced to prison in the Adidas scandal - the runner, the assistant coaches, the financial advisor, the Adidas execs - had rolled over and become an FBI informant several coaches would have gone to prison, including Will Wade. That was who the FBI wanted, the head coaches. But they didn’t get the help from those caught up in it that they expected. They expected those arrested to become confidential informants and to wear wires to entrap Miller, Wade, Pitino, etc. But, they didn’t get cooperation and didn’t land the big fish they hoped for.
Many would say that the coaches dodged a bullet. But many believe things might have been better for Wade had he done a few years in federal prison, learned a trade, and rehabilitated himself.
Instead, the Pear continues to rot.

I got news for you, it wasn't only the coaches that were identified doing all of this under the table stuff
Plenty of others were glad they didn't get caught up in the mess
Do you really think Calipari, Roy Williams and Coach K were getting all these 5 stars legally?
At least Wade didn't use assistants to take the fall like all the other coaches

An interesting documentary. I can’t wait for the sequel. It already has a strong leading cast - an AD with a history of covering up institution wide sexual assault and a head coach who was named in an FBI bribery case.
‘The Scheme 2: Down the Bayou’ will be first rate entertainment.
