Rig is right.....But when Georgia was running at him, there were usually two or three blocking him, including that beast at fullback. Georgia won that game, Carolina did not lose it.

bullshite.

Clowney kept jumping in the B gap and we just ran outside through the C Gap.

We were easily able to seal Xlowney on the inside when he ran himself right out of the plays (again... pass rusher mentality).

We ran to the left about 18 times. We ran freaking 76 plays.
Xlowney had plenty of opportunities to make plays.
He didn't.

The guy is overhyped. Great player. But no way he could live up to the hype.

The question I ask, "Is Lorenzo Ward the answer?"

The South Carolina defense took a step backwards in 2012 after losing Ellis Johnson.
2013 appears to be a step beyond that.

It's Willie Martinez all over again... only Gamecock style.

I guess I just do not understand why the USC fanbase is not pissed off about these comments made by Xlowney. He needs to lead on the field every play and then he can start calling out the other players...

"Xlowney didn't mean to hurt us... We just fell down the stairs... We are real clumsy... Xlowmey loves us.. He is just under a lot of stress right now... It was my fault... i Done burnt his dinner"

Watching some more film. First UGA drive, the 20 yards run by Gurley to the 1 foot line was run right at Xlowney. He got run over by the full back in the gap . Knocked down. I wonder why he made those quotes in the paper?

You two are infatuated with Clowney more than ESPN is. Reading South Carolina newspapers, studying Clowney game film. Glad you guys won your Super Bowl.

Does our alleged infatuation change the fact that 4 UGA TDs were run right at or by Xlowney? He didn't even jump in the air and stuff.

Maybe, one day, USC fans will be as infatuated with Xlowmey as we are and go out and buy 7 jerseys and posters of " the hit" that Xlowney made in a Bowl game that wasn't a BCS bowl game after securing their back to back 3rd in the SEC East Championship...

I can hear Rod Stewart singing about us now... We are infatuated with Xlowney...

Your shtick is old. We aren't a rivalry. Sucks we lost to you, oh well. The fact you're micromanaging game film on one player is pathetic, especially since your team won the game.

I'm not getting sucked into a pointless argument. I don't know what point you're trying to prove here. Clowney is overhyped in the news! Oh my god! Nothing new here.

It's pathetic dude

You can put down the crack pipe anytime now. They didn't run all there plays away from clowney. However, the rest of our line ain't doing shite right at the moment so teams are running away from clowney and the times they aren't they are blocking him with 2-3 bodies. That is all. Anyway as bad as our defense looked there was probably about two shitty coaching plays by our offense and special teams that made us look that much worse. The special teams blunder where our linbackers weren't near the ball and the 4th and goal call we're stupid as hell but hey can't win if you don't take chances.

I miss your old avatar. It was the right mix of sarcastic looking and intimidating. How long do you have to wear this new one, and are you going back to the old one?

Yea and that was to the side Clowney wasn't on.

I would have to disagree with this...not that it really matters. Clowney took himself out of many plays we ran right at him....why? One poster on the Georgia board noticed something, and it made sense to me. He said that the Left tackle often widened the gap between him and the guard several times inviting Clowney to charge inside on plays we had designed to go outside. Clowney took the bait and came charging inside and we simply went around him. But when you move a player from left to right to center, it is near impossible to run a play away from him. Most check down plays go from a run to a pass or vice versa to take advantage of how many players are in the box. They are NOT to go from left to right.

Anyway, it was a good game and regardless of WHY he did not have a big game, I'm glad we are done with him and y'all for this year. I look forward to next years game. It should be a barn burner. The OBC will want his pound of revenge, I'm sure!

Clowney = Simeon Rice when he was at Illinois. All the media hype, average to above average play, nothing stellar to justify the hype.

I would have to disagree. He dominated us last year, and we had a pretty good team. he is capable of taking over a game...any game. He is just struggling right now, for whatever reason. All we have right now is speculation. I feel certain he will come out of his funk, and be fine very soon.

Too late, and look at you trying to be a voice of reason.

Those blinders must have been too tight. Everything they are posting is accurate, unlike your act. Clowney is a great player when he wants to be. He has the ability to take over a game and that is what his focus should be. He is quick enough not to have to give up the run the way he does.

Shitty 4th and goal call? Clowney's fault too

Honest question. Did you guys ever line up under center the whole game? I don't remember y'all doing this. In fact, I don't remember you guys ever lining up under center against us or NC.

Besides, I had pretty much given you guys a TD in my mind. I didn't think there was any way we would stop you. Our Defense was tired and your Offense moved the ball well all game.

Great game. Looking forward to next year. Now you gotta go out and whip Clemson!

...and you are a petulant count, but that does not make Clowneys remarks any less big me, little team...
