lol. Gundy would be a good fit at St should Lebby leave.

I won't be surprised if Gundy just doesn't like the new era of NIL/Portal/player entitlement era and is glad to hang it up.

Good on him. Long tenure, moderate success at a high level of football. Might as well enjoy the beach, lake, or ranch based on his preference and ride it out.

Well a lot of time has probably passed since then. Now that all these jobs are open and people are getting nervous they might end up with an absolute no name a guy like Gundy is starting to look real good I bet lol.

he hates NIL

You would think a school could take that off the table with a GM or underling handling NIL.

He would seem like a good fit several places.

Most successful Okie State coach in history. He's their Bill Snyder.

Would be a good hire.

But a terrible decision for Gundy.

I think he did a phenomenal job at OSU and this is from a diehard OU fan.

I think he’s had his fill of coaching. I’n guessing he would only come back for something like a Penn State, Florida or LSU job..

Gundy to Arkansas was programed years. They just had to let Ok St run its course.

Use to like him until , he was having work done on his house, worker showed up wearing OU shirt. Most coaches would have a good laugh. Not Grundy make dude either leave or change shirts

Would love to give Gundy a run at our opening. Hes passionate and knows how to play the David V Goliath role and that's what arky needs right now. Basically a Nutt 2.0.

However, all the sidewalk hog fans act like the single mother of 3 who demands a 6'3 guy who makes 200k a year.

Not to be disrespectful but yes he did at 91 in 2019. I guess I just forgot but I honestly didn't know he was that old.

These coaches are a different breed. Most of us would take a $50 mil buyout and ride off into the sunset and drink margaritas and chase chicas for the rest of our lives and get away from the coaching meat grinder.

One of the things that makes the great ones so good is it's just in their blood. I don't know if gundy is one of those. he seems the type to be happy to just retire and enjoy life.
