Did LSU break Jimbo/A&M?

I'm sure it had to be demoralizing to lose to a fired coaching stuff and a bunch of backups, then we saw them run away from Wake Forest.
Since that point, they've been pushed around a little by Sam Houston State, yet managed to win, and then we saw them get absolutely dominated by Appalachian State.
They really seem to have regressed from last season.

Dumb contract but Scott gave Jimbo $7.5 million for 10 years, they'd be halfway through it but Bjork gave him an extension and raise last year.
