They were leading at halftime.

The teamed freaked out after getting down 10 as we always did under that lame coaching staff. We were running pretty decent and completely gave it up after going down.

Do you think anyone who played for Woody Hayes liked him? Or Bear Bryant?
Bear Bryant kicked the living shite outta The Junction Boys, and they absolutely loved him.

“ When Coach Bryant died on January 26, 1983, the only piece of jewelry he was wearing was a gold ring inscribed "Junction Boys", given to him in 1979 by the survivors from the Junction practices. Bryant was buried at Elmwood Cemetery in Birmingham, Alabama with that ring on his finger.” LINK

Kinda wonder if he didn't crawl the players arse
Makes zero sense. They had the lead, two picks, and a blocked punt before half time. Any Coach would have been very pleased with that.

That's what they're saying. Was worse than O'd go off on that kid that threw that pick 6 from what I've heard.

Jon Sumrall, Brent Key, and Alex Golesh all seem like interesting possibilities to me.
Probably best of the available class that won't cost 40+ million and will actually get to work and win games

Its so funny being up at halftime only to get fired at the end of the game

A&M isn't that great.
More of the same ill conceived arrogance by SEC old timers. One thing that has become quite evident in this conference is that if your team loses the excuses are innumerable!
Last I checked A&M is 8-0 overall, and 5-0 in the SEC. I think that might be enough evidence that they are pretty good?

When you go on vacation during the bye week and then come back crawling peoples asses when shite goes sideways it doesn't inspire much loyalty.

many LSU fans felt that way about Kelly from the beginning
Hmm, you wouldn't have known that by reading this board.
Of course these are the same folks that called Will Wade a "gangster."

This year the worst case they are going to finish 10-2 (I think it will be 11-1). You and Texas are the only major obstacles left in their path. No guarantees with South Carolina but they are not the threat that the two of you are. I am seeing them in the SECCG and (win or lose) the CFP.

What’s funny is that LSU fans think that any and every college football coach in the country will stop what they are doing and move to Baton Rouge at the snap of their finger if they call them

Those that were in favor of the hire really wanted to get the Saban “monkey” off of our backs. Think delusional Matt Mascona types (he was defending Kelly on a show last night
The rest were accepting but not enthusiastic.
Biggest shock to me is how many sports “insiders” are saying how poor his work ethic was (and had always been) while at LSU. Yet they said nothing (to maintain access - I understand). I have every confidence that all of his upper tier SEC counterparts (Kirby, DeBoer, Kiffin etc) knew this and did not even remotely fear him.
Disappointing.
