Yes, I knew he was homesick with after his decision....But, but, I think he made the right decision, FOR HIMSELF. Kirby apparently will never change his system to fit one individual. So, now, he is in a system that has an abundance of weapons at wide receiver, he's well protected by a physical offensive line and blessed with a backfield mate who might be the best in America, but most importantly, he is playing under a QB friendly reputation and innovative offense of coach Ryan Day. Personally, I think the guy is as good or better than Meyer. That's a big reason he has been so successful, although he has made mistakes. But he can afford to make mistakes and still be explosive. When will Kirby Smart learn?

I’m thankful Fields escaped the racists in Athens. He made the right choice.

He made the wrong choice picking UGA to start with. They already had 2 very talented young QB's. His ego had him thinking he would step in and win the job. Once he didnt, then he made the right decision to transfer.

There is only one starting QB. And for the most part, one QB plays. Everybody else watches. Same for every team

C'mon guys, I personally don't think "racism" had anything to do with his decision...It was all about wanting to play, NOW, and he couldn't have lucked into a better spot

He made the right choice, and I’m glad he is doing well there. It’s obvious Kirby didn’t know how to use him, and I’m not so sure Fields understood Kirbys and Chaneys play scheme.
I’m just guessing like most people on that situation. It would really be nice to know the true reason why he left.

I don't think it had anything to do with the racism thing (and) I don't think Kirby and Chaney are even close to the type of instruction he is given today. Ryan Day is a QB "whisperer" and respected by all.

Did Fields dodge a career "bullet"? Yes. Yes, he did. Everyone knows it including Georgia fans but they don't want to admit it.

How your rambling got from did "Fields make the right choice" to "When will Kirby Smart learn" was actually quite impressive

What a load of crap

Lincoln Riley & Cutcliffe are the ONLY QB whisperers in all of CFB

If Ryan Day was a QB whisperer then Haskins for the Redskins wouldn't look like pure garbage in comparison to 5-10 Kyler and in comparison to Danny Dimes that came out of HS with an offer to Princeton and ZERO STARS

Dwyane Haskins was a 4* guy that spent 3-4 yrs with Ryan Day compare that to the 0* guy that spent 4 yrs with Cutcliffe or the 5-10 guy that spent 2 yrs with Lincoln Riley

Fields is on pace to be another Haskins, and before you call me crazy the next time that Fields throws a pass into a "tight window" will be his first

Fields does what all OSU QBs do, they simply take their time behind their loaded OL and find the favorable matchup where their sub 4.4 WR runs away from some slow footed Big10 DB

Fields will regret going to the Big10 to play CFB, he'll end up being a career clipboard holder like Haskins is on pace to be

Had Fields went to Duke and played for Coach Cut he'd likely be headed for an NFL Career for a minimum of 12 yrs averaging $35MM per yr

Yes. I doubt Kirby would have changed the offense to suit Fields skill set. (Maybe in a year or so?) But, he made the right choice going to Ohio State.

Homesick? He is from Georgia.

I doubt you will find a single Georgia fan that thinks he should have stayed. All I can think of is that you are trolling or dumb as a bag of rocks.

Ryan Day got to tOSU in 2017!
He was with Haskins 2 years; and was co-OC in 2017.
