The preview for Bo, Barkley, and The Big Hurt make it seem that way.

Yup just like Florida football started in 1990, LSU football started in 2000, and South Carolina football started in 2011.

We're still waiting on Arky to start their football program.

The 80's were sweet for Auburn.

Their football team was pretty good in the 1950's too.

Then Bear Bryant came home..

Robert Horry has 7 rings. Played big in some of those. Not sure why he is not as well known.

I would say that Auburn athletics turned the corner in the 80s.

Just three of the greatest athletes, in three different sports, to ever play in the SEC, and in one HOF or another, just happened to play at one University. Hate on.

Bo and Barkley were also media sensations and still are today. Admittedly, I do not know much about Thomas, but Bo and Barkley are two of the most recognizable athletes of all time. Almost any sports fan knows their names. To have even just those two at one university at one time is insane. I'm looking forward to seeing this.

Yeah, gonna be a good show I think. And all 3 are outspoken about AU 20 years later.

Barkley and Bo especially. Always in AU and representing and promoting AU constantly.

I was a kid in the 70's and had gotten used to the Iron Bowl bashdown. It made my freshman year in 1983 all the more sweet (and the years following).
