Alabama never had the lead the entire game, and it was over at half time. The garbage td's hide what actually happened. The eye test says LSU scored at will against Alabama's defense, dominated, and were clearly the better team (breaking scoring record at Briant Dennehy).

Are we talking before or after garbage time TDs?

LOL. Right. Bama was an insides kick recovery away from taking the lead at the end, but you hold onto that "blowout" win if if helps you sleep.

Yet you never possessed the ball only down one score, did you?

You can pretend that it was an easy win. LSU played a much better first half. But there isn't an LSU fan alive that wasn't praying that 2nd half would hurry up and end, as Bama steadily gained on LSU.

I can honestly tell you, I was not sweating a moment of the second half. I saw pure desperation on the part of Bama. Every time we got the ball I was sure we could move it. Never have a felt that way ever against any Bama team. It was surreal. Not sure I will ever see something like that again in my lifetime so I am savoring the moment. The final score was just a number. We controlled the game from start to finish.

Yet, LSU was outscored 28-13 and escaped with a 5 point win.

The committee has been shitting on Baylor all year then a home win over 6-5 Texas suddenly constitutes a massive jump

THIS ^^^. It defies logic really. But that’s the BS committee and their nonsense rules

How about the bowl selection committees get together and have A&M play Texas to find out who the best 6 loss team in America is.

I'm fine saying LSU deserved to win. They had a good game plan and executed it. But, pretending it was some kind of blowout is silly, no matter how much some of you want to believe it. A couple of different bounces and that game has a another outcome.

Bama will get in if they win big. But I'd rather see Clemson lose to whatever school they play this week. All Clemson plays is high school competition and then wins the whole thing cause whole team is healthy

In a rematch, you should definitely hold your breath for a punt return TD, a trick play TD and an 85 yard bomb against a D playing press man instead of prevent.

Bama loses by 21+ if they play again, and I hope they do.

Did not say it was a blowout. My post says LSU was clearly in control. And they were. Come on Teague. You know me.
