Sue Gunter took LSU to 1 Final Four
Dale Brown took LSU to 2 Final Fours
Pokey Chatman took LSU to 3 Final Fours

Just an observation of the facts.

Go ahead and do it now. When they build a new arena it won’t be named for anyone and neither will the court.

So you blame Tate because he’s black right?!

1st thing, seriously fu** Vitale and wish he'd stfu about LSU Basketball

2nd thing, It's ridiculous naming the court. It's PMAC and that's enough.

The Tiger stadium should be named after that legend footballer and pure sex machine Tuscaloosa. He owns it. And the Golden Girls. And name the basketball arena after Harry Rex Vonner. A great American.

Best he ever did with Shaq was get to the 2nd round.

What an absurd pile of stupid you wrote. Brown took a below average program, totally fired up the state of Louisiana about college basketball, went to the NCAA tournament practically every year and got to two Final Fours. More importantly he gave LSU fans the thrill of watching Rudy Macklin, Dewayne Scales, Jerry Reynolds, John Thompson, Chris Jackson, Stanley Roberts and Shaq up close and personal. It’s a joke that they are pushing to add Sue Gunter to the court. But that’s the reality of the politically correct world we live in.

In my absurd pile of stupid as you called it, I said nothing false. If I did, feel free to point it out. To summarize I said he's the best coach in LSU MBB history. Undeniable. I said he never won a title and didn't get past the 2nd round with Shaq. Documented historical facts. I said he left the program in probation. Again, documented fact. I said Gunter is a Naismith HOFer and Dale never will be. Again, documented facts.

Which of these points are you disputing exactly? My only opinionated statement is I don't really care what the court is named because I don't think it should have been named after anyone in the first place. It would be like naming the field in Tiger Stadium after Cholly Mac.

Quit being a disingenuous a-hole and only highlighting whatever you think makes your idiotic point. Pointing out a few facts to belittle him and leaving out the great majority that elevate him is typical message board trolling. Mention he only got to the second round with Shaq (who has to be the most unfairly officiated player in the history of the sport), but leave out the fact he got to an elite 8 with Daryl Joe, Anthony Wilson, Bernard Woodside, Oliver Brown and Nikita Wilson starting and nothing but Fess Irvin and Jose Vargas off the bench. Leave out the fact he beat Georgia Tech in Atlanta and then a 30 win Kentucky team as an 11 seed to go to a Final 4. And trying to equate women’s basketball and men’s basketball is as disingenuous as it gets.

Though with Shaq and Chris Jackson LSU did under achieve in the early 1990’s.

That's putting it mildly. And don't forget about Stanley Roberts... 3 NBA players, one a superstar.

And he vastly over achieved with other teams. If you’re going to criticize one way, give credit the other way.

LSU is coming after your title, Bama. But there will still only be one THE Woke University of Alabama.
