Love to see Louisiana boys succeed! Doesn't matter the university, I always root for them, and Smith in particular was/is a very special player.

Not bad for the #3 WR in the draft.

Especially considering #1 last played when he was a sophomore.

When Smith doesn’t do shite in the nfl in his rookie season like Waddle and Juedy, what will your excuse be?

If covid made everything so easy for Alabama, then why did LSU suck? Shouldn't covid have made the season easy for LSU as well? Why was it so easy for BAMA and not LSU? Did Alabama and LSU have different sets of rules? How does a team lose half it's games in an easy season? Why did Devonta Smith smoke Stunkley two years in a row? Isn't LSU DBU? What will LSU's excuse be in 2021? Just a few questions that need answering.

Might have had a little to do with multiple opt outs, several of which were key players. You can say Saban was awesome for keeping the players from option out, but it was a major factor that had nothing to do with athleticism or player skill. It was a discrepancy created by a rare historical event that affected much more than just football. Congrats to Saban and Bama for going undefeated in 2020, but it will be remembered in the context of COVID no matter how badly some of you gumps prefer it not. Bama beat a team that played 7 freaking regular season games for the title for goodness sake.

True, true. Everyone will remember how Alabama overcame the obstacles and rose to the top in such a challenging year. Thanks again man.

It may not be my favorite of Alabama’s NCs in the last 12 years but it’s definitely in the top 6 you have to admit.

imagine if the best player in the history of your state went to the school you want so bad to be your rival and then dragged his nuts all over your team over and over. That would probably suck

Sounds like a lot of "muh 5-5*" to me. If LSU was any good none of you would be crying about covid. You cry because your team was awful. Period.

OK, figured it out. You are referring to Bo Jackson, the best college player in the history of the state of Alabama, who dragged his nuts over the Crimson Tide. Got it.

It has nothing to do with LSU having a bad year. It has to do with gumps not being satisfied with winning a bunch of games during a fricked up season. You feel the need to try and make it more than it was.

Honestly, it's only LSU fans that cry about it for the most part. You cry about it because you were horrible in 2020 and because you all want to believe 2019 LSU would beat 2020 BAMA, but you only beat 2019 BAMA by 5. I think we all know who wins that game straight up.

LSU, proved it on the road in 2019. All Bama's best players in the 2020 season* were on the field in 2019.

Wow. Bama must have gone undefeated and won a national championship that season.

Good. He deserves it. Heisman, SEC Championship, and Natty in the same year, then gets drafted in the first round. Hard to top that.

No but they are the greatest team of all time because they soundly beat all of the best players from 2019 LSU
