Nobody gives a f*ck.
Everybody does it.
I just want to win on Saturdays.
Don’t be stupid enough to get caught.

If this story was about notre dame or Ohio state cheating I’d bet there would be a lot more whining about the injustice of it all.

I mean, back when tatgate was a thing all those many years ago there was no shortage of outraged posters around this place

But alas such is the hypocrisy of being a sports fan

Is there bending of the rules by everybody? Perhaps. Do all schools flat out offer recruits money to sign with their programs? Not hardly. If this were so, then you would see the top schools in athletic department/booster income signing a lot more 5 stars. The lack of parity is becoming glaringly obvious by a few schools.

Well I hope anyone, including Alabama, gets caught for cheating if they do it.

So, some people do give a frick.

I personally doubt the OP is an actual Alabama fan. He always tries to start shite like this while pretending to be an Alabama fan.

Not gonna matter soon when they can be paid for their likeness.

The same schools won't have to pay up front, they'll just promise the fact that their "exposure" will lead to endorsements/advertisements.

College sports is about to get fricked quickly.

I mean they kinda do. Just look at all the hate towards OM during the trials and tribulations of horny man Freeze

All other fanbases were stalwart in their theory that only OM was dallying in the dark arts

Getting caught will happen at some point in this day in age. Everyone has access to social media and it is only a matter of time before it gets thrown out there on public domain

I wish you all the best in your efforts to gain competitive advantages. If you get caught I will take great pleasure in your downfall.

I can appreciate that it's really all the have-nots have got. So cling baby, cling. Unfortunately, bad teams (insert Tennessee here) get popped as much as anyone else. There are reasons for that absolute truth, we all live in glass houses. All of us.

Here's another truth, everybody hang on, the majority of players do some type of PEDs. All teams do it systematically. It's in the NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, PGA (see the latest exploits of Bryson DeRambo), the Olympics, (since forever, like ancient Greece long ago, they have women sprinters today, with their muscularity, that look like steam engines). College sports, (men and women), high school (boys and girls). And this stuff was notorious enough and openly talked about with athletes on teams when I was in high school and college a freakin long time ago. Anybody with half a brain that's interested in the drugs can look at the muscles that are developed and tell immediately if it's anabolic steroid or HGH. Hell, your favorite actors and actresses are showing what the HGH results look like in effect and so does your favorite football team.

Love sports for what it is, a level playing field that some are better at than others. Wow, that sounds just like life.

I want to hang with family/friends on Saturday and watch my team win. Who gives a f*ck why each of the players chose their team?

It warms my heart when bamas admit to cheating and paying players.

In your next post, inform us on how much you pay your players.

Thanking you in advance.

Let's not act like Ohio State hasn't been caught before.

1. No one said they haven’t. Certainly not on the scale of hundreds of thousands of dollars for players, but they are hardly pure.

2. The post was more about the moral relativism that sports fans have. Jim tressel had espn and sports illustrated camped out in Columbus for a month trying to crack the story of comped tattoos and rigged raffles. This story? Crickets

I’m not going to say Auburn is historically clean, but Alabama acting like they don’t cheat is silly. The upper echelon of the REC exists for a reason.

Who has been caught for hundreds of thousands of dollars?

What story? If you are talking about Russ Probst, you might have to wait awhile. He is the least trustworthy source for any information you could find. You might want to do a little research before you take his word for anything.

There was a little more proof in the Tressel thing, I I think there was a little more to that than comped tattoos.

This had a lot more to do with y’all refusing to believe you were cheating when you suddenly went from signing classes ranked in the 40s to top 5 and top 10 classes every year. Y’all denied it for so long and Freeze himself was even making smartass tweets about it so it was pretty sweet to rub it in y’all’s faces when it all came out.
