They do give a shite and it will continue to be a hot story. What they do not pay attention to is fans or a disgruntled player making these claims. That is not the case with Rush.

You made a bad comparison, just own it. LSU and Texas A&M had less 5* players combined than Alabama on its own last season.

But I digress, I agree with the premise of your point, just stating that comparing Alabama's talent to Texas A&M and LSU is like comparing the talent at Mississippi State to LSU.

Everybody cheats. It's to the degree they cheat.
For an Ohio State fan to come this board and point fingers at SEC teams when their program had Jim Tressel and Urban Meyer... I mean Meyer proved character doesn't count. And Tressel had concerns when he was at Youngstown State. I'm not sure if I were an Ohio State fan I would be talking about lack of character and/or cheating.

No. Propst is not a disgruntled player or a fan.....but once they look at his credibility they won't pay any attention to him, either. Let's not act like he is some upstanding coach who tries to do the right thing. I suspect the NCAA will question him and he will say something like, "I was blowing smoke up their butt and just talking." and it will be dropped post haste.
Could I be wrong? Absolutely.

The reason SEC fans got such a schadenboner about Ohio State was because of their moral preening about those awful oversigning cheaters in the SEC, so when Tressel got caught cheating and lying about it so he could keep players eligible to play against Arkansas, you bet we had a good time. I’m sure there are people who think that they got caught the only time they cheated, but we don’t.
There’s some saying about glass houses that comes to mind.
