Why didn't Everett get recruited by LSU? Isn't he from Louisiana?

Dunno. He didn't sucker punch anyone from beyond or beat up any war veterans in this incident so I'm guessing he didn't have what it took for LSU

If you're referring to the Jordan Jefferson Shady's incident then I have to tell you the guy wasn't exactly a "war veteran" or any upstanding citizen. Believe me though, I wish he would have been suspended for the whole season.
ETA: At least the word "on the street" was the guy involved was not the greatest human being...could have been all wrong of course.

He wasn't on Cooper last year, Dustin Harris was. Everett was on Kenny Bell.
When Harris and Everett switched positions on 4th down is when the pick occurred.

Kind of weird they are all defensive players. I guess LSU really does take almost all the good ones on that side of the ball from LA.
