Watson is a better passer though at this point in his career. He's a true sophomore. Its pretty incredible. Give me all the stats you want but just watch him

Our offense was much better this year too. 40 couldn't beat Beat this year, but 28 was enough for Cam. We're talking about the breaks that happened in 2 random games against totally different rosters 5 years apart. I can't even believe we're having this conversation.
If you are going to compare them, compare them based on a full season's body of evidence. That will give you a much better comparison than two individual games some 61+ months apart.

Thread is just another feeble attempt from an Alabama fan to discredit or minimalize Newton. He is a superior athlete to Watson in almost every measurable way and accomplished more with less. He rose above NCAA allegations and the limitations of being on a chizik coached team to go undefeated. There is no comparison.
Watson is a great qb and one of the best playmakers around. He is not better or more impactful than Cam Newton. Watson also got to run up stats against ACC defenses. Newton played an SEC schedule.

I've enjoyed watching Cam since he left Auburn. Jordan Jefferson beat Alabama more times than Cam did. I would argue Nick Marshall's two games against Bama were better than Cam's.

This thread just shows how crazy sensitive they are about the guy who defines their program. Apparently you can't even do a comparison to another great player, anything other than bowing down to the GOAT will be taken as butthurt criticism.

Just let me know when yall are over it. Right now you're stifling what could be a good conversation because you have a problem with Cam maybe possibly not being 10x better than anyone ever. I just pointed out to the LSU fan how stupid it is to compare one game against Bama 5 years apart. Should be a simple thing that anyone could agree with. Dude he had one of the single most dominating seasons in the history of the SEC. Cam beat Bama down 24 in Ttown, won the SEC title game, won the Heisman and then the national championship, all in one transfer year.
What's next for you a-hole? You gonna say Tebow wasn't shite also? Get a grip and humble yourself dude, I hated Cam also but he was one of the greats in this conference. Swallow your fricking pride and at least acknowledge the accomplishments he had in ONE year at Auburn.

You seem wrought with worry about it all the time. It really seems to eat you up inside.
It appears you like to stifle people's opinions because they may have a bias towards Cam. Maybe they are bad because they don't agree with you. Try not being so sensitive about it in the future and can discuss Cam without being so rustled by Auburn fans.

We all knew he was getting the fricking ball, every team in the country knew it but you know what? You still didn't stop him, no one did, he got better and better as the season went on. Give some credit where it's due.
