I just went back through Genro's posts because I thought I might have missed something. I didn't.
You people are raking him over the coals for saying TWO THINGS: 1) You can't compare this Alabama team to an Alabama team from 2010 and believe that settles it, and 2) You're sensitive at the very idea that another player might be as good as Cam.
Just listen to yourselves. The reason I even mentioned this is BECAUSE Cam was incredible and I was just comparing two incredible quarterbacks. If you think that is somehow disrespecting Cam Newton, something is fricking wrong with you.

Why are you being so sensitive about the subject and people responding to genro. You admitted bias and the others genro is responding to are bias. Are you the only one allowed to be biased in their posting?

There's a big difference between admitting bias and being biased while you belittle someone else, as if it's OBVIOUS you're right. That kind of attitude frustrates me (I know, I better get used to it on the rant. But it's still ignorant and rude.)

And once again I stated in my post that this Bama team gave up over 500 yards of offense to Clemson, did you give that much up to Auburn in 2010? Again, how can you say this team is so much different than when Cam played them? Seems like the similar stats put up but only with Cam winning.
He came back from 24 on your home field. Name the last team to do that to Alabama.
Watson had essentially a home game against Bama in Glendale and still lost. How can I not compare the two without clearly saying Cam is the better QB????

So since Watson produced so many yards against this Bama team, then the Bama defense must have been weak, so Watson must not be that good. Brilliant logic.

Impressive comeback against a DIFFERENT TEAM. And that 2010 Bama offense was better, so...you might argue that because Watson was so good, his team WASN'T so far behind at halftime.

I've already said I like Cam. Of course hes a great qb with amazing accomplishments.
Comparing Watson to Cam is not a way of tearing Cam down. It's a compliment to Cam because he is the gold standard - the GOAT dual threat qb.
I've never seen such out of whack responses. I'm just marveling at it now.

Both quarterbacks are incredible. There's no need to use such superlatives with one that the other has to be talked down. What Watson did to that Alabama defense was just ridiculous. And he did similar things to other very good defenses this year.

Maybe if Watson was auburn's quarterback in 2010, they would have been leading at halftime and there would have been no need for a comeback. And then they would have destroyed Oregon and it would be "no question" who the best was.
