Pretty sure Clemson fans have said this before... you know like before the 5 year streak? Way to be cocky AFTER losing the national title. It all comes around full circle. Just wait, but I don't expect you to be here then.

Clemson ran up some numbers..but we stopped then when we had to and when it counted. I thought our DB's played fine but you can't cover forever.

We'll be back next year. And Muscoot will be struggling to win 5 games. Gotta feel really confident in a guy who couldn't beat Georgia Southern at the University of Florida coming onboard with the offensive coordinator that got fired with him.

I honestly thought he was going to pull that one out but the onside kick and the KO return were too much to overcome. On the TV broadcast you never saw an ounce of fret on his demeanor which I am sure helped his guys keep their cool.

I mean, the TD throws to Renfroe were picture perfect. The first one Minkah and the other cover man slightly mistimed their jump, but the throw landed right in his breadbasket. The 2nd one was a great route that was still covered pretty well that Watson threw into a piece of paper sized spot where only Renfroe could catch it.
Again, I wasn't even mad at those plays. It sucked, but I couldn't complain about them. Dude just made throws.

We've beat them more times in Columbia than they've won in the entire series. Do they have a winning record against anyone in the East not named Vandy since joining the conference?

Their favorite thing is to claim they are the Bama of the ACC ... how they are patterned after Bama and how Bama and them have so many ties historically.
If you wanna sleep with the dog you're going to get the fleas. You do not want taterhead karma rubbing off on Bama. There is such a thing as clemsoning and it is contagious ... the SECr is not the place for worshipping the sheep humpers.
Show some respect to the rest of the conference like we showed to y'all while pulling for y'all against the sheep humpers. There is something to be said for the positive mental vibes we all sent-out to Bama that pulled them through Monday night. Respect that.

We are doing that right now, actually. It's the first 3 days after the game. We are discussing the game. We will get back to reminding everyone how we run the conference and the nation shortly, but first we will reflect on the game that finalized all of that.

See, the point of these threads are not to make anyone feel good. They are to discuss the football game we watched and give our opinions on it.

I mean, good for them. Often imitated but never ignored. And we do have ties. Their best coaches were graduates of our school.

I'll be as frank as I can be here : I don't give two rats shits about the rest of the conference. The rest of the conference squealed in joy as we were hammered by the NCAA in the 1990's and the 2000's. The rest of the SEC rolled around on the floor giggling during Mike Price and Destiny and our mediocrity under Mike Shula. We own this conference, the majority of people in it hate us and would rather us cease to exist, and so I don't really give a hoot what the rest of the league does. We are Alabama, we built this league and we are once again the program that defines this league. I have no ill-will towards South Carolina specifically, they are one of the few in the league that I don't really care about either way and generally root for in their games, but I certainly feel no pull for the "conference."

You can run your mouth about those awful inbred sheep humping taters all you want. It falls on deaf ears and I will go with my own experience. They say the same thing about us around here, that's how I know it's bullshite. It's just something fans of inferior programs say to feel better
