i watched the replay 4 or 5 times and I can't say that he indeed called for a fair catch. It looked like he was shielding his eyes from the sun. There was no waving motion

He speared a defenseless player, who regardless of calling a fair catch, is entitled to catch the ball without interference much less getting speared helmet to helmet...then for the Arky player to brag about hitting a completely defenseless player is dispicable

You forgot the part about many of the Arky posters liking it and saying it was a clean hit.
It just shows how incredibly stupid the Auburn and Arkansas fanbases are. The Arkansas fans are basically repeating the same lines the Auburn fans kept saying after all the dirty hits Fairley had last year.
If you can't see that was a dirty hit you're a fricking retard.

He has two arms and two hands just like a lot of other people.

The way the defender led into the tackle was what the penalty was for. It was helmet to helmet contact. Different from spearing.

Did the guy get up or was he not moving?
He was on the ground for a couple of minutes, with Wade jumping around like he was totally fricking awesome!

Read this, Arky fans.

there was a 15 yard penalty.
It was actually declined because during your idiot team's celebration of a dirty hit against a defenseless player, a Vandy player grabbed the ball and made a good return.

Wade was the Arky player ejected. Might be cheapest shot I've ever seen, followed by taunting. Several Arky posters here state they liked it. Vandy player looked like he may have. On concussion..
But several have sated they didnt like it and were embarrassed.
Worst part about it was the celebration. Then when he was walking to the locker room with his coach he he kept at it. He was yelling and hitting his chest.

Whether he called fair catch or not is irrelevant. I'm not sure why people keep bringing it up. He's still entitled an opportunity to catch the ball

That arse deserves to be kicked off the damn team. That is the dirtiest, and most inexcusable hit I've ever seen.
His antics after the hit make me wish some of those Vandy players would've kicked his arse.

Some of us are just trying to point out that he did indeed wave for the fair catch, that's all.

That still means absolutely nothing in this argument...

You see the guy call for the FC, you lay up.

Because there are two separats items that people are discussing. I don't believe that anyone said that a player is not entitled to an opportunity to catch the ball even if they did not call for the fair catch. Some people are just pointing out that his left arm was waving around. Was he waiving off another player? Looked like a fair catch call to me.

Really fricktard? Fairley never hit anyone dirty like that. What a dipshit.
