Agree. It’s been a while since the arena had rocked lol. A lot of excitement right now though, so the atmosphere should be drastically better

Perhaps, but I prefer to think of Drink and Gates as the "Shake and Bake" of the SEC.

Jamarion Sharp is going to dominate the SEC. 25 points, 20 rebounds, 10 blocks per game minimum

I’m all for a loud Mizzou Arena since you got rid of the piss yellow court. I could stand it on TV.

Is the team looking better? Absolutely.

Is Dennis Gates generating some buzz about the program? Very much so.

Is it time to start shitposting the Rant about it? Oh please god NO!

"Here's a good, self-training exercise that helped me get better as a coach..

Whenever you watch basketball on TV, keep a pad & paper nearby -- without using the DVR, and without using the pause or rewind -- diagram a successful scoring play that you've just seen.

Think about the concept and execution that helped make that play successful.

Do this 5 times over the course of every game you watch on TV."

That in it's own right will be better than what our last 2 coaches use to do in regards to in-game coaching and board management. I am excited for basketball next year. I think he could do great things for us.

The same Jamarion Sharp that couldn’t dominate at WKU? Averaged 8 points and shot 39% from the FT line. Lmao Gates will get you back to what he knows. The NIT

Very similar to Arkansas' literacy rate.

He led the country in blocks. He’s as dominating a defensive presence as their is in CBB.

I will gladly take a 7'5" athletic big that finished with 8 Pts, 8 Rbs, and 4 Blks a game his first year playing D1 ball. He also altered the way other teams played that don't show up on a stat sheet.

I love the hope Mizzou has. It’s a beautiful thing.

This dude isn’t even a top 50 player in the portal. He is like Vanover and will get abused by more athletic bigs in the SEC. If he is good why isn’t he ranked higher and have good schools after him?

None of your transfers are top 50. You have 3 - 3 stars coming in lmao.

Now Trevon who transferred from Mizzou to Arkansas is ranked #7.

Gates is a NIt coach. He will always be behind Kentucky, Arkansas, Auburn, TN, Bama, Florida, Aggies and even State with the current coaches each have

- You obviously know nothing about Sharp

"None of your transfers are top 50. You have 3 - 3 stars coming in lmao."

2 of ours are top 50 after Miller

"Now Trevon who transferred from Mizzou to Arkansas is ranked #7."

We have replaced him with JUCO AA Diarra, 4* Shaw, and top transfer Carter

"Gates is a NIt coach. He will always be behind Kentucky, Arkansas, Auburn, TN, Bama, Florida, Aggies and even State with the current coaches each have"

No idea what this means considering Gates went to the NCAAT with Cleveland St and brought in a top Coaching Asst.

Right, and we very likely won’t be any good next year so losing Brown doesn’t matter that much. Brazille and Shaw are the only two that matter.

He hasn’t even entered the transfer portal yet. Mizzou thinks they’re going to get him because they hired his old JUCO coach.

It isn't a done deal yet obviously, but there has been smoke around this pretty much since Smithpeters was linked to the job and that has been going on for almost 3 weeks now. The talk has also happened outside of Mizzou circles. It's past the "Mizzou thinks" status. It's expected to happen.
