Has Florida won 3 championships with 3 different coaches in the last 15 years?

Riley sure did bring a bunch of 5 stars with him to USC. Glad LSU didn’t want him
Guess that’s normal though for recruits to follow a coach to his new job

It's difficult for anyone to believe that, all things being equal (like compensation), that UF would prefer Napier over either of Riley or Kelly.

I would prefer Napier to Kelly because more potential upside though he could also fail entirely. Kelly has had every opportunity at Notre Dame but hasn’t yet won it all.

I’d have taken Riley before either of them and LSU clearly pursued him after Fisher.

Riley has had more opportunities than Kelly, so why do you hold him to a different standard?

Because he’s younger, is the best qb coach in college football, has a prolific offense most years, is a better recruiter, has been in the playoffs more years than not without the preferential treatment that independent Notre Dame gets, and its a matter of time till he produces a defense to go with the offense. USC is a good place for him.

Probably because he’s younger. But Riley inherited a good program from Stoops and hasn’t had to build anything in his career as of yet, so Kelly is more proven to right the ship for our program.

This makes it pretty clear that LSU is the bigger program.

He inherited a perennial playoff team, has lived off transfer QBs, has been to the playoffs almost every year and has yet to win a game in the playoffs, gets preferential treatment playing in a terrible conference, and he's never fielded a good defense. See how easy that is?

Maybe you prefer the Riley hire because it;s the one LSU didn't make. Just a thought.

Absolutely. Because now he'll continue to play in a weak conference instead of having to play SEC teams in a couple years.

Uh ok, thanks. Not really the burn you think it is.
Makes sense a guy doesn’t want to move his family out of the state he’s already in.
