Deliverance & Clemson

Deliverance was filmed in Clayton Georgia, a mere 35 miles as the crow flies from Clemson. The final scene in the movie where they showed the valley being flooded was shot during the flooding of what is now Lake Jocassee SC, which is only 20 miles from Clemson as the pig squeals....Coincidence?!! I think not. Someone please gif Dabo into that clip! I dont know if he's Ned Beatty or the guy banging him tho hahaha

This thread is exactly why I wish Clemson and FSU would join the SEC, so we can watch the family squabbles and add quality football games!

I moved to the mtns not far from Highlands and there are a lot of Clemson fans here...
I’ll say this much...the ones that I’ve encountered, which is a lot, have said nothing but favorable things about LSU...
There are some USC fans here also, and I have no problem with with them either...
I will say this...
The rivalry between these two is pure hate...
Just like UT - aTm hate...
Real hate
Every other rivalry dwarfs when it comes to real hate...

The Chattooga river is the boundary between the two states.
When I saw the movie I thought it had to have been filmed in Tennessee, you know it had a lot of things like snuff-dipping and overalls

Yep. I do hate em. Its a bitter rivalry. One of my all time favorite days is when they found out that the person who smashed howards rock was a clemsin fan. All I'd heard was how it had to be a Gamecock. I talked so much shite that day! Dumbasses!
