It was a joke.. He's announcing this game with Dave Neal.. He's terrible but apparently he was a good basketball player back in his day.... In other news, the TN fan is in his same seat as last year down the third base side... He even has a friend accompanying him.. Good to see that he has lost a good bit of weight over the last year.

As for the SEC buying Hoover Met, I'd much rather the league dedicate more money towards getting better league officials, specifically in football & basketball. To me, buying a minor league ballpark for use only one wk out of the yr makes no sense whatsoever. The league office has enough to do, practically yr round, without it getting into owning & running a ball park outside of the SEC window. Unless of course another bama grad needs a league paying job.

I agree completely. The SEC baseball tournament needs to rotate so more people can make it. I'm sorry but I'm not traveling to Hoover, however I would go to Nola to catch a game or two no matter who was playing.
