New contract details for assistants:
Wommack was set to earn $1.85 million in 2026 under his old deal and was extended through February 2029 at $2.35 million in 2026, $2.5 million in 2027 and $2.65 million in 2028.
Morgan's (our GM) salary was raised in August 2024 from $500,000 to $775,000 after he was pursued by USC, with that deal paying him $825,000 in 2025 and $875,000 in 2026. He was extended last year through 2027 at $875,000, and on Wednesday was extended through the 2028 season at $1.2 million annually.
Sports performance director Dave Ballou was extended through February 2029 at $1,050,000 in 2026, then $1.1 million in 2027, then $1.15 million in 2028. His previous deal signed last year ran through February 2028 at $950,000 annually.
Alabama extends contract of defensive coordinator, general manager and other assistants
