At this point in the season, we are the worst team. But the guys are still playing hard and I hope to see improvement as the season goes on. I doubt it will be enough to get us off the bottom. We are just outmanned at every position this year.

Yeah it’s hard to look good when you turn it over 5 times. But they’ll blown the doors off of arkie from here on out I can tell you that much. Vastly superior talent.

Tennessee has way less portal players on the team than Arkansas. They used the NIL money to get the better high school recruits and have been able to keep the far majority of them from hitting the portal.
Arkansas is way behind in NIL and have gotten plenty of duds from the portal.
Arkansas needs to find a different strategy than trying to portal themselves up the ladder.

No need in betting up on already down teams.
NIL and the portal has turned college football into money ball.
None of these kids sign up with a program anymore because it was their favorite team growing up.
It’s which team is willing to hire them and where is the big money.
I feel bad for some programs like MSU
I don’t feel sorry for Vandy they could care less about football.
Even Northwestern is building a brand new 40k seat stadium.
Vandy has plenty of money build a damn stadium Vandy!! It’s embarrassing

I'm sure that this particular observation was made due to the fact that OU couldn't stop Auburns run game very well while against Tennessee they were able to do so.
The only time Tennessee was able to run on OU was when the OU defense was shellshocked after the the second time they had to come on the field the play after they had gotten a turnover... in the same damn quarter.
Auburn ran on OU fairly consistently during the entire game.

I guess I’d go with Auburn today … but I reserve the right to amend my answer until I see the next 3-4 games of actual SEC play.

Auburn has a lot of potential. They should improve every game. They are one good QB away from being a serious problem.

It's State, and I hate it for their fans because I actually like their fan base. Mostly because of baseball, but still.

Don't worry, we don't have the swamp rats on our schedule this year, and unlikely to meet post season as well.

We didn't get many chunk yard running plays because we called an ultra conservative game in the second half and chose to be a one dimensional offense to kill the clock and let our defense win the game. If we would have opened up the passing game those running lanes would have come open a lot more in the second half. Your defense just teed off on the run every play because they knew we likely weren't going to throw the ball much at that point.
