To be honest it's probably what he's hoping for....Which is the easiest path the a NC....SEC or Big 10? Hell, Gary Danielson is liable to come back to CBS Just to slob on Kiffin's knob.

Danielson is WAY better than the Gus Bus on Big Noon Kickoff!.
Plus LSU would have the best baseball program in the B1G...

LSU would never go to the Big 10 for one simple reason.
The Big 10 sucks at baseball and baseball is kind of important to them.
There’s other reasons but this is the main one.
They will either be in the SEC or ACC. Not independent bc that’s too big a headache for all your other sports besides football.

LSU would be a solid addition to the big ten as far as athletics. Scholastically I don’t know how they are perceived with the other universities. But as Cardale once said, we didn’t come here to play school

We're all dying for those LSU matchups with Minnesota, Northwestern, and Maryland. It'll be must see TV.

LSU will never join the Big 10. They’re not (and never will be) a AAU member.

Aau is a big ten preference not requirement. It’s a lot like the keep instate acc schools out the sec gentleman’s agreement. They might have a voting block that would shoot certain non aau schools down but not a requirement. Big ten asked ND(not aau at time) to join sometime in the 90s, they were aware Nebraska was losing aau status when they got invited. Most recently while talking about big ten vetting process a few years ago when expansion was a hot issue the big ten commissioner admitted to vetting non aau schools and reiterated its not required

The B1G isn't done with expansion and LSU would be a fantastic addition to the Conference.
West = UCLA, USC, Cal, Stanford, Oregon, and Washington
North = Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Michigan State, Purdue and NW
South = Indiana, Texas Tech, LSU, Houston, SMU, and TCU
East = Ohio State, Penn State, Rutgers, Maryland, Ga. Tech and North Carolina
Added a couple of baseball schools to entice LSU...the Red Carpet would be rolled out for the Tigers for sure...they would be top notch additions in Men's and Women's athletics from Day 1!

Not only would the B1G roll the red carpet out for our Bayou Brethren...you would own the South in Football and Baseball.
The baseball schedule would be home games or trips to Southern California...the northern teams would want to come South for sure.
There has been talk of snowy November games...that is usually in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan/Sparty, Iowa, or Nebraska in the last week of the season...I highly doubt that LSU's late November rivalry game would be against one of those schools.
You would be welcomed to the B1G!

The only thing you own, is that you looked away when Sandusky diddled all those boys under the watchful eye of Paterno. You own that for life, pedo bitch.

Playing at night is a health issue. Last Saturday was in the nineties with humidity probably over eighty percent. The lightening delay with the rain cooled things off a lot but it was still hot.
