So season home/away locks between Bloomington, Lubbock, Houston, Dallas and Fort Worth. Plus occasional trips to Happy Valley, the Big House and Columbus. And the west coast schools here and there? Plus being in a conference that doesn’t hate us?
I’m fricking in. Sign me up. Let’s roll.

Not to mention everyone would want to come to BR in the early Spring for baseball. As well as being paid the $80-90 Million annually through the media contract.

I get it...you are angry...Texas joined the SEC and made you irrelevant again...now you are mad because the B1G wants LSU and not you...

Would be nice communing with you folks. Much nicer than the redneck, inbred portion of our current hill country, slack jawed conference "partners" at the moment.

Can we stop with the LSU to the Big Ten fantasy? Here are some facts to consider. The B1G is a massive research alliance first and a sports league second. They pull in $19.6 billion a year in academic grants compared to just $1.37 billion in sports payouts. Academics literally bring in 14x more cash than football, and B1G presidents aren't tanking a multi-billion dollar research brand for a football.
LSU is a total non-starter because they fail every requirement. They don't have AAU research status (which 17 of 18 B1G teams have). Their 4-year grad rate is a mediocre 50% while the B1G average is 70-80%. At #169 nationally, LSU would instantly be the absolute academic basement of the conference behind Nebraska (#158).
Before someone says they just accept anyone for sports, go look at the actual expansions. Academically, UCLA is #17, USC is #28, and Maryland, Rutgers, and Washington are all tied at #42 nationally. Oregon is at #110. Every single one of them is an elite AAU research school. Maryland and Rutgers were added to lock down the East Coast TV markets, and they brought top-tier academic profiles with them.
LSU has a great athletic program, but academically, B1G leadership would throw that application straight into the trash. If LSU ever did leave, it would be heading to the Big 12 long before the Big Ten ever answered the phone.

Big don't take dum dum schools so unfortunately they will not be joining

LSU can teach the B1G about baseball supremacy and we can help them with academics if needed...it's a win win for everyone involved.

Ok retard. LSU is not, nor will ever be an AAU institution.

Can't wait to watch LSU play Rutgers in the snow on Friday night up in New Jersey.

Actually we have enjoyed all our interactions with BIG members over the last few decades. Ohio State fans are great as are Whiskeys. Don’t lose our number we may need to talk soon if this clown show continues and Sankey isn’t fired

LSU has significant research programs like the Pennington Center and is moving away from open enrollment.
Plus we are about to announcing a private equity deal which will add billions to our revenue stream and we add whatever the frick the B1G needs if necessary.
It will only be until the super conference starts in 5 to 10 years but it could be fun.
Let’s at least get a home and home going

You are a smart one. Let’s see if you can figure out what you screwed up in your new Big 10.

You are correct...I forgot to include Florida State in the new B1G with LSU.
Thanks for the reminder...
