Not at all. Alabama benefited by name alone. LSU db's have outshines bama in the NFL by a wide margin. Even out backups get drafted in the 1st 3 rounds. Brooks and Collins

Well just playing Devil's Advocate, at least Bama did get a lot of them drafted. I'll give them credit for that....

Bama is right behind with 12.

However, Bama has had 5 1st rd & 2 2nd rd

They add to the already impressive list of bust players, no other school can claim that, bravo.

7 of Bama's DBs are still active, 8 counting 1 that was an undrafted free agent.

And 6 of LSU's are still in the NFL.

Bama's ????

Dre Kirkpatrick
Kareem Jackson
HAHA
Barron
Milliner
Collins
Rashad Johnson
Sunseri

That is 8 including Collins, 7 without.

I'll give you 7 with Jalen, if we count Landon.

It is funny that people dont realize it can still take time to develop in the NFL. Guys aren't truly busts after 2 years. Kareem went from being a bust to one of the best corners in the league. Kirkpatrick started really turning it on at the end of the year. Johnson, HAHA, and Barron(for now) are all starters. Milliner will eventually get it together....mebbe.

I am just trying to say the narrative that Bama's DBs are all busts is just a taaaaaaaad overblown.

I think it would be fun to put together an NFL team of the best players from Alabama and LSU. Match it up against the best team the other 12 SEC schools combined can put together. It is the off-season after all.

LSU used to be my second favorite team in the SEC. Then I married a girl who went to USCe , and Bama hired Saban which started the rivalry. So much for that...

Bama has as good a DB class as LSU.

According to the 247 composite ratings

2014
Alabama signed the #2 and #3 CB and #4 S.
LSU signed the #2 and #3 S.

2015
Alabama signed the #4 and #5 CB and #2 S.
LSU signed the #2 CB.

LSU won the biggest game ever played, so the db's showed what they could do.
