True, but for whatever reason our starters have left a lot to be desired in too many games. Not putting today on Root because the D didn’t have his back, uncharacteristically. That being said, starting pitching is my biggest concern going into the NCAA tournament. Something I wouldn’t have thought at the beginning of the season.

Not surprising to me.. we have a good team with a really good coach or coaches, but I don’t think we have a championship level roster.
Could we win it all? Sure, but we would have to get hot and I don’t know that we’ve been hot at any point during the year.
For the most part, we beat bad and average pitching and we struggle against above average and elite pitching. We also had some lucky bounces go our way, and we did have a favorable schedule on the road. I don’t buy into all the conspiracy bullshite though.
As I have been saying all year, our ceiling is most likely a super regional or two and Q.

I agree. They definitely have the highest ceiling in my opinion, but they are a strange bunch.
