Bama allowed the fewest yards defensively in the conference outside of OU, and the fewest by a Bama defense since 2017. They were top10 in scoring D in year 1 and top10 in Total defense in Year 2 while forcing the 4th most turnovers in all of FBS over the past 2 years.
Georgia scored from the +8 yard line (blocked punt), the +9 (turnover in downs with 2 minutes remaining trailing 21-7), and a 24yd punt return to the +41. They had 270 yards for the game and averaged the lowest ypc (3.2) than any game all season. Same offense Bama beat without s poring a point in the 2nd half in Athens.
I wouldn’t exactly describe that as “the defense getting its teeth kicked in” imo

Awesome bro, did y'all get any trophies out of that? Weren't y'all outgained by the opposition in most of your wins last year too?
whatever helps you sleep at night, well there was always the Indiana game a few weeks later AND you gained -3 yards rushing in this game as well

The vertical passing game has been the real issue. It’s been non-existent and CKD’s offenses have led the nation at all 3 programs he has been at.
Milroe was incapable of it, and Bama attempted an SEC low 19.7 pass per game (less than half of what he did the previous 4 seasons as a HC). Now, why Ty Simpson threw such an ugly deep ball is beyond me. He has a howitzer of an arm prior to getting injured and yet they only attempted 4 passes of 40+ yards the entire season (at UW they completed 7 vs Lanning’s Oregon defense in that ONE game). Bama’s non-existent downfield passing game is the primary cause of their poor running game. Forcing defenses to play split-Safety coverage is CKD’s biggest strength offensively, and it creates +1/+2 boxes to run the football against (which they have failed to create with Milroe and Simpson).
Overall, I’ll take going 2-1 vs Kirby, 7-1 in the SEC, beating 9 ranked opponents and winning in the Playoffs every year regardless of how they have to do it
(and kicking LSU’s a** is just a given).

Maybe you guys will win more than twice in the next 39 years against Bama in Tiger Stadium, unlike the past 4 decades (it is possible imo).
Also, CKD not being able to run the ball this past season (the year prior Bama was 4th in the SEC in rushing) is not a result of the playcalling or a lack of physicality. It’s the inability to create a +1 that CKD has always been able to create throughout his career.

Any playoff wins or appearances during his stint at LSU?
Nope, was one of the reasons he was fired.
Honest question, if DeBoer has another 4 loss season like the two prior, is he still coaching at Alabama in 2027?
What is the expectation from an Alabama fan’s perspective?

Heupel is winless in Neyland against Kirby LOL

For a fan of a program that has double the national championships over the last 23 years of the next closest program, these apologetic response posts are the height of insecurity
FTR: I had y'all going 10-2 last year before the season and was right on the money
So, with this schedule, y'all may go 10-2 again, y'all may or may not make the SEC title game again, probably lose, then lose again in the playoff and it'll be another year without a trophy
If y'all are cool with that new identity and reality compared to the past, that's cool, probably the most realistic outcome honestly. I'm fairly confident KD will drop a game during the season he shouldn't, actually did it twice last season which was astonishing after the L's Year 1.

I will give you credit here, this is an astute football observation which illustrates a lot

Kirby was 75% at georgia his first 2 years,
Imagine losing 1 out every 4 games you play lol
In his first 2 years, DeBoer lost the same number of games that Bama had lost in the prior 5 years combined.
In his first 2 years, Kirby produced Georgia's first 13-win season in 15 years.

LSU is 5-8 against Bama at Tiger stadium since 2000. Not great, but not the exaggerated number you claim.
Hope you enjoyed Saban’s tenure, because moving forward the results will not be the same.

those were also kirby's first two years as a head coach ever in his life, while deboar already had years of P4 experience.
