The play was no different than when qbs scramble around towards the line of scrimmage and then flip or pitch it to someone at the last second. Happens all the time in the NFL

The likes of Auburn, Texas A&M, and teams from the Big 12 constantly get away with holding. I'm sick and tired of it.
You're a Bama fan, right?
You can't be serious?

I am fine with you coming up with specific players that UGA has bought under Richt....

Gus > Richt

All coaches try to find the "gray" area..offense, defense, recruiting, etc. Just the way it is.
All teams run pick rotes for example. sometimes they get flagged but most do not...part of the game.
I don't know if Auburn had a wr downfield blocking against Bama because if they did nothing changes. But sometimes they will get flagged in the future sometimes they will not if that is the gray area they have decided to exploit.
I truthfully don't see Malzhan's offense being a long term problem for defenses...but obviously I could be wrong.
I always viewed it as an advanced Wing T, ie high school offense. Was surprised to hear during the SEC CG that Malzahn started developing it after reading the book Delaware Wing T.
Congrats Auburn...amazing year as bad as I hate to admit it. Heres hoping to a tie in the BCS...lol

You do know if the offense makes a substitution the defense can also right?

Do you have a link of any recruits bought by Gus? I didn't think so get a coach with a spine.

Educate the refs on this sort of garbage football and you won't have to change the rules imho.

Bama - Pat Peterson and Rematch
Shut the frick up. You babies get every call and play the weakest shite. Lsu wipes their arse with Bama with equal schedule and refs.
You guys whining is comical.
Nice field goal coverage. My high school coach altered schemes on long kicks.
LOL.

The conference clinics will be next Spring; contact Redding and have him set it up so you can tell them how it's done.

AU posters loved Pollard the other night..... not it's just different.

Man I've laughed pretty hard in this thread.

I have no problem with AU's offense as long as the refs have no problem with their QB getting hit as hard as possible one every play. What happened in the SECCG where a flag was thrown when Marshall was clearly gunning for more yards can't happen.
LOL the flag was thrown because play was over, the ref was standing 3 yards from the players blowing his whistle and blowing play dead, and when Marshall stood up and took a step the Mizzou defensive player threw him to the ground. All while the ref continued to blow his whistle. That's going to draw a penalty 100% of the time.
Marshall gets popped on plenty of running plays, he just isn't made out of styrofoam like 95% of UGA players.

I'm less interested in Pollack and the play action than answering what in the holy hells bells is Gus feeding these guys or telling them to do in order to get Auburn's OL to run block so well that even great d-lines who know ahead of time pretty much all Auburn is ever going to do is run, look like a 9th grade JV d-line trying to stop an NFL o-line.
We're talking about enormous pushes up the middle no one has stopped consistently even though there have been some pretty badass d-lines that should've been able to stop or at least slow things down. It's understandable that with Mason you're gonna get some big runs and he's gonna burn you up on the edge every now and then. But the up the gut consistency and hole made by that line is almost too good to believe.
It would be more believable if they had a pass game but without one it's unreal.

Considering the amount of slobbering hissy fits we've seen on here from UGa fans about AU, I find it fitting one of their favorite legends goes on national TV to have his own pity party.
