Just wish we had a still pic of it at the instant of release. That would settle the question.

Melt down about the melt down.
Pollack is an idiot. Auburn's offense is very effective and I think can easily be modified to keep teams guessing next year and for years to come.

Ok went back all the way
Rece made a point about KNOWING Pollack has an issue with the run blocking of OL more than 3 yards downfield and asked him how does FSU combat it and his answer STRAIGHT FACED NOT JOKING AT ALL was "change the rules" then discussing it he said it was illegal
It's Playaction

All we hear from Barners is Bama holds on every play. LSU fans whine about Patrick Peterson (they WERE robbed)and we can hit back with the no call pass interference call where our receiver was shoved down and LSU got an INT.(Terrible no call)
Officials blow calls. We can't go back and change them but I am calling for officials to be watching for that illegal play in the future.

And I don't blame Auburn for running it...you do what you can get away with.
I blame the officials for not calling it. Someone IS listening otherwise we aren't having this discussion.
And I bet next time you get flagged.

agree with him in a way. It seems like college refs have no idea how to correctly enforce holding. The likes of Auburn, Texas A&M, and teams from the Big 12 constantly get away with holding. I'm sick and tired of it.

Just a preview of the rule changes (or greater enforcement of rules already on the books) that are coming. Eventually, people will run out of gray areas to exploit on the field.

Having players line up as wide receivers when their place on the line makes them inelligible is difinitely abusing the rules.

Marshall threw the pass legally. Jay Prosch an eligible receiver being 5 yards downfield blocking while the ball was being thrown was not.
There was an Olineman at least 4 yards downfield and running forward when the ball was released. I wish someone had a still pic of the moment the ball was released.
Nice tackle on that play by Robinson too.
